5 years agoI worked with Terry and Brad to get my roof and siding replaced. Their greatest value was in dealing with the insurance and ensuring the replacements were paid for. Beyond that, the work done incredibly quickly and well. The communication throughout the entire process was perfect. They had to work out a few problems, mostly with insurance. I don't believe other companies would have been able to overcome these issues. First Builders are tenacious and always had my best interests at heart. -

6 years agoSaw a little red ford ranger pull out onto elm creek blvd about 430pm cross two lanes of traffic with no turn signal right in front of a poor unsuspecting white mini cooper forcing them to brake very hard. It was raining and the little red ranger had no headlights on. Thankfully the mini cooper didn't rear end you and i was far enough back that i didn't get t boned. When we were pulling up to the stop light at cty rd 81 i saw the driver of the little red ford ranger looking at their phone. Thankfully again nothing happened and hopefully the driver of that mini cooper didn't soil the pants or interior of their car. -

First Builders assisted us with the process and made it a lot easier, they kept us in the loop every step of the way. Their experience working with the insurance company showed, everything went a according to their plan. We highly recommend them. -

14 years agoWe were pleased with the overall work that was done originally. After a few years, we were noticing rust accumulating on the top of our wood burning stove in our basement. We couldn't figure out the reasoning behind it at first. After a major rainstorm, we discovered water sitting of top of the stove and realized what was causing the problem. I called Brad to have him look at what was done around the chimney that goes to the wood burning stove. He came out a few weeks later (I did have to call and remind him of our conversation) and apparently fixed the problem. (This was last spring 2011) After some major rainstorms this summer, we are continuing to have problems with water leaking inside and outside the wood burning stove. I called Brad in early June 2012 and asked if he could come and take another look. He said he would, but asked if I could email him as well to help remind him to come by and inspect it. It is July 31, 2012 and I have emailed him twice and left 3 messages for him to get back to me on this issue.
