2 months agoPaul was hired to do our stonework around the exterior of our house as well as stonework for our fireplace. Very helpful throughout the process and couldn't be happier with the end result. Great work. Great guys. Couldn't recommend more highly. -

4 months agoWe hired Paul for a very large project this summer and were highly impressed with the outcome. We consulted with Paul prior to beginning the project and were so impressed with the creative solutions he recommended. We had significant yard drainage issues, structural issues with our attached garage and retaining walls that needed replacement. The work was extensive and we were completely satisfied with the results. Here is a summary of the work Paul and his crew completed: *Installed drain tile for complete backyard drainage system *Removed existing retaining wall and steps and installed a poured concrete wall attaching it to existing ledge rock. Fixed garage drainage system to properly drain (had been draining very slowly and improperly below garage foundation). *Installed 6 foot cement apron in front of garage slab to stabilize shifting asphalt driveway. *Finished project with subcontracting a new asphalt driveway with Sinnott, who I would also recommend. Thanks again Paul and sons for the excellent work in fixing these major problems and leaving us with a beautiful end result. Here are a few photos of before and after. -

6 months agoWe have tried the rest and found the BEST! Paul approaches every job with the client in mind. He listens and works with what you have and where you're at with budget and your hopes. We've had big jobs and small ones done by other contractors and Paul just knows his stuff. We had a 30ft stucco wall capped with black stone constructed along driveway with brickwork and steps to our backyard. Replaced fence and created more room to our backyard entrance. All just stunning and matches our contemporary home. Paul and Sons care about the quality and time on the job. Replacing brick to match our garage corner was beyond belief. True masters of the craft. Skilled, tidy and they're one step ahead of you with design and execution! It was a honor and privilege to have them create our house with street appeal. We have bathroom and sidewalk projects on the docket with Paul and Sons. Without hesitation he's the one. -

7 months agoWe hired Paul for a variety of masonry and tile work. The biggest job was cutting out and replacing a couple large sections of deteriorated stucco. Paul and sons did a thorough job prepping the area and then skillfully matched the stucco pattern and paint. They also did an excellent job retiling our front steps, repairing the decorative block face at the base of our house, and repouring the concrete walk approaching our front steps. Highly recommend. -

FAQ
Does Splitrock Co charge for estimates?
We provide free estimates for all projects. When you contact us, we'll schedule a time to visit your home, assess the scope of work, discuss your ideas and budget, and provide you with a detailed quote. This consultation is part of our process to understand your needs before any work begins.
Are you licensed and insured?
Splitrock Co maintains proper licensing and insurance to protect both our team and your home during all masonry, tile, and carpet work. We recommend asking to see proof of our credentials when we meet for your estimate, as this protects you in case of any unexpected issues during the project.
Can Splitrock Co handle custom carpet installation along with other flooring projects?
Yes, we offer carpet installation as part of our broader flooring services, which also include tile work and backsplashes. Our approach is to listen to your vision and budget, then deliver solutions tailored to your space. Whether you need carpet alone or want to coordinate it with other flooring or masonry work, we can create a cohesive plan for your home.
How long does a typical project take, and when can you start?
Splitrock Co schedules projects based on the scope and complexity of your work. During your estimate consultation, we'll discuss realistic timelines and availability so you can plan accordingly. Factors like the size of the area, any prep work needed, and current project load all affect when we can begin and how long completion will take.
What does Splitrock Co do with debris and waste after the project is finished?
We handle cleanup as part of our professional service. After installation or repair work is complete, we remove debris and leave your home clean and ready to enjoy. The specific cleanup details can be discussed during your estimate so you know exactly what to expect when our team finishes.
Why should I hire a professional instead of attempting carpet installation myself?
Professional installation ensures your carpet is properly stretched, seamed, and secured to prevent wrinkles, buckling, and premature wear. Our team has over 20 years of experience handling everything from standard installations to custom solutions that fit your specific space and needs. Improper installation can void manufacturer warranties and lead to costly repairs down the road, making professional work a worthwhile investment in longevity and appearance.
