1 month agoWe have been blessed to have worked with JBrothers on three major home projects over the years. It began with our basement being finished back in 2012. We met with three companies, and the moment we met Chuck Johnson with JBrothers, the decision was made. We had an instant connection, and it proved to be a long-term relationship. Fourteen years later, we still LOVE our basement (laundry room, mini-kitchen and family room). In 2022 we hired JBrothers again to renovate our kitchen. Chuck had retired and now his son and DIL, Mitch and Carrie, run the company. What a delight working with these two! Mitch carried on with his dad's amazing knowledge, skill and rapport with his clients. Carrie was an amazing addition with her skills, interior design expertise and darling personality. I got my dream kitchen that I stand and admire every single day. The third project was the build out of our backyard deck in 2023. What a wonderful upgrade to our backyard! All the staff members at JBrothers are so good to work with. They are dependable, hard-working and excellent at what they do. We can't recommend this company enough - we give them 10 stars! 2 months agoThe JBrothers team did an incredible job on our basement remodel. From the design stage, recommending unique features we hadnt considered, to their organization and communication we couldnt have asked for a better team. They executed our vision for our outdated basement, basically transforming our space from an outdated 90s basement to a very clean, cozy, modern look. The JBrothers team was clean, tidy and always let us know what the plan was for the day and who would be coming to work on the project. We would recommend this team to anyone! -

3 months agoWe used J Brothers Design after having water damage in our basement. Most of the basement needed to be redone after the incident. We worked with Jackie to help with the interior design, she was amazing! She listened to us and our what we were leaning towards with style, she helped us pick out things I would have been to scared to try on my own and it turned out amazing! Mitch and Carrie helped us come up with things to make our space the most useable. We added a Mudroom space, a closet to a office space, drink ledge and built in counter top behind our couch. We are so happy with our space! Once work started on the basement, I knew what to expect every day and Mitch was communicating with me consistently if there were questions or things for me to expect. It was a great experience and we plan to use them again in the future for other re-models or additions we have on our home. -

3 months agoAfter over three decades in a sixty year old suburban house, we had been looking for a trustworthy company to do renovations to our kitchen, living room, and main bathroom. We learned of J Brothers from neighbors and saw first hand the quality and attention to detail of their work. We met owners Carrie and Mitch Johnson about six months before remodel. Very early on we were impressed with the plan and the design. We were assisted through the process of choosing windows, appliances, cabinets and countertops with good ideas, a keen eye for detail, humor, and patience. J Brothers have selected a team of talented carpenters, framers, detailers, electricians, plumbers, flooring and tile installers. We were impressed by their level of skill, commitment, punctuality, problem solving, and overall effort. As a whole they exceeded our expectations. This was a major undertaking for us and came away with many stories of how they went above and beyond EVERY DAY during the 8 weeks of demolition, rebuilding, and remodel. J Brothers finished on time and under budget. We highly recommend J Brothers and will choose them again when future remodeling is needed. -

5 months agoJ Brothers finished our basement. From design to construction, it was a fantastic experience. Our design included a workout room, full bar, hockey shooting room and built in cabinets for bar and fireplace. They iterated our design many times to get exactly what we wanted. The crew was fantastic at our house. Super clean, respectful and helpful all along the way. The quality of the work was great and we had no issues. I would highly recommend them to anyone doing a major remodel.
