5 months agoSteve and his crew are absolutely incredible. I had a huge dying oak tree in my backyard that no one wanted to take on. I called over 20 different tree companies and fought with DTE (because the tree was on power lines between their 2 power poles) for over a year. I also had the absolute worst neighbors who derailed removal every time and accessibility issues (small backyard). Despite all of that, Cassidy Tree Service guaranteed their expertise and safely removed the tree so it is no longer an eyesore, liability, or blight on my property. I will 100% recommend them to anyone who needs tree service. Steve is extremely communicative, reasonable, and reliable. -

6 months agoHired these guys to take down two trees that were growing at a precarious angle over our garage. Not an easy job but they were confident they could get it done - and get it done they did! Definitely would use them again.

FAQ
How much does Cassidy & Co. Tree Service charge for tree removal, and do you offer free estimates?
We determine pricing based on factors like tree size, location, accessibility, and any hazards such as proximity to power lines or structures. Free on-site estimates are provided after assessing the job to ensure an accurate quote tailored to your situation. This approach helps homeowners understand the full scope and value before committing.
Are you licensed and insured for tree service work?
Cassidy & Co. Tree Service carries full licensing and insurance, including liability and workers' compensation, to protect homeowners and our team during every project. Homeowners can request proof of coverage upon contact for added peace of mind. Our established reputation in Detroit stems from successfully completing challenging jobs that other companies decline.
Does Cassidy & Co. Tree Service handle hazardous tree removals like dying oaks near power lines or maples over houses?
We specialize in tough tree removals in tight yards, including dying oaks near power lines and hazardous maples overhanging homes, even coordinating with utilities like DTE when needed. Our crew uses bucket trucks, climbing gear, and ropes for safe execution in difficult spots that others avoid. This ensures minimal risk to property and surroundings.
How quickly can you respond to a tree emergency, like on a holiday weekend?
We respond fast to urgent calls, including holiday weekends, showing up promptly for jobs like cat rescues from high branches or immediate hazard removals. Arrival windows are set after initial contact to match your schedule while prioritizing safety assessments. Expect clear communication on timelines once we review the site details.
What does Cassidy & Co. Tree Service do with debris and cleanup after tree removal?
We leave your property clean by removing all cut logs, branches, and debris, often piling them neatly on the lawn or sidewalk for easy disposal. Our process includes thorough site cleanup to restore the area as much as possible post-job. Homeowners appreciate this attention, avoiding the hassle of handling waste themselves.
Why is it safer to hire you for tree removal instead of trying it yourself?
Professional tree removal uses specialized equipment like bucket trucks and climbing gear, plus trained crews experienced in tight spaces and hazards near homes or power lines, preventing accidents and property damage. DIY attempts lack this expertise and tools, risking falls, structural harm, or utility issues that could lead to costly emergencies. Our methodical approach ensures jobs are completed correctly the first time.
