15 years agoSurprisingly unpleasant experience from a small job: contractor did not provide an estimate upfront and charged a premium for the job, and CAME TO THE DOOR after only 8 days asking for the money! The job was done on 6/30, I got the bill on 7/11 and he came to my door on 7/19. I was not at home, wife told the contractor that she was not sure whether I have mailed out the check (which I did the day before) and the contractor said he will CHECK AGAIN TOMORROW if not receiving the check. Very, very unprofessional. Stay away from this guy!

FAQ
Does Landry Electric provide free estimates for electrical wiring or panel upgrades?
We assess the scope of work during an initial visit to determine pricing based on materials, labor, and job complexity. Homeowners receive a detailed quote upfront before any work begins to ensure transparency. This approach helps avoid unexpected charges and allows planning for projects like home additions or remodels.
Are you licensed and insured for electrical services?
Landry Electric holds all necessary licensing and insurance required for residential electrical work in Pomfret Center, MI. Our coverage protects both our team and your property during installations and repairs. Homeowners can request proof of these credentials prior to starting any project.
Does Landry Electric handle lightning protection installs and repairs along with wiring for home remodels?
We specialize in electrical wiring and panel upgrades for home additions or remodels, as well as lightning protection installations and repairs. Our hands-on experience ensures these tasks integrate safely with your existing systems. This keeps your space powered up without compromising safety.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for scheduling electrical jobs?
We provide clear scheduling details upfront, with arrival windows of two hours to accommodate your day. Smaller tasks like outlet replacements take under an hour, while panel upgrades or wiring for additions span one to two days depending on crew size. Power may need to be shut off temporarily for safety, but we minimize disruptions by isolating circuits when possible.
Does Landry Electric clean up debris and waste after completing electrical work?
We remove all debris, packaging, and waste from our jobsite, leaving your home tidy and ready for use. This includes scraps from wiring pulls or panel installations. Proper cleanup prevents hazards and respects your living space during and after the project.
Why is hiring you safer than attempting electrical wiring or lightning protection as a DIY project?
Professional electricians follow strict codes to prevent shocks, fires, or system failures that DIY efforts often cause due to improper techniques. Our team uses specialized tools and knowledge for tasks like panel upgrades, ensuring long-term safety and code compliance. Attempting these without expertise risks injury, voided insurance, or costly rework.
