9 years agoThe best experience! I mean, who wants to live in a house while remodeling, right? Especially when you are refinishing floors! The dust, the moved furniture, the smell of the varnish?! And still, refinishing about 800 sq' of hard white oak, took a grand total of 3 days, including clearing the furniture and setting up back! Cornel was amazing in doing fast, quality work! He also was very careful in sealing the area with plastic and tape. This way the amount of cleaning we had to do was minimal. He also used a water based varnish, which smell way less than the polyurethane one. We lived in the house during the work, with small kids and a disable senior, and nobody complained about the smell - a make or brake point for us! The price was right as well, at least 10% under a few other estimates. Very happy with the way it went, and we will use Cornel and Accent Flooring again soon for our living room area! -

Cornel told us upfront he couldn't do the job right away but since my husband used him before and we liked his way of explaining things and his price we decided it was worth the two weeks wait and it definitely was. We will definitely use him again. -

11 years agoHe installed the flooring in our basement. One guy came out and he did it all within four hours. We got all the materials and he did a great job. He came studied the situation and then did the work with no problems. I would say if you have any issues with your flooring this is the man to contact. He will evaluate the situation and take care of it with no issues. -

15 years agoWe had purchased wood at Menards and he recommended another place (A American). The quality at the other store was so much better and about the same price. If it wasn't for him I think we would not have liked our finished product. He worked us into his schedule and we had a deadline because we were getting furniture moved him. He met our deadline. Quality was great, timeliness was great, overall great experience. -

16 years agoThe project went very smoothly and the results are beautiful. He completely sealed off the work area to minimize dust. He cut up the carpet into strips and removed them. He then patched all carpet tack strip holes. He sanded, buffed, and varnished the floors. He was very professional and always returned my calls asap. He asked for no money until the job was completed. I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to others.
