3 weeks agoI just wanted to take a minute to share my experience with this company. I had them complete an electrical service upgrade to 200 amp probably 3 years ago now.I knew after completion of that service that they do great work "attention to detail" was very apparent. Now for the real reason I am writing this review. I installed a new GFCI outlet in a bedroom last night and when completed,I could not restore power to that breaker. I sent a service request to have them come out and fix my blunder. Instead of them just coming out and fixing it for $400 (which I would have thanked them for) I get an email before 9am the next morning asking if I could call them and they would help trouble shoot. I had to work until 5:30 mind you the company closes at 5pm. I had the Vice President himself call me after hours and told me what wires to switch around and it worked. Very Hard to find a company nowadays putting customer the people before customers money. I am very thankful to be in VerPlank electrics service area. -

1 month agoWe had a great experience all around with VerPlank Electric. Our estimator, Steve, was positive, easy to work with, and explained things well. It gave us the confidence to go with VerPlank compared to other companies we explored. The VerPlank team of electricians, Bryce, Collin, and Johnathan, were upbeat, professional, detail-oriented, and extremely knowledgeable - they did excellent work! The new lighting around our home looks fantastic. We were really impressed with the team and would highly recommend them. -

1 month agoMy experience with electrical service was exceptional. My serviceman (Tom) was in touch before he arrived, he was professional and friendly and accomplished his work quickly and quietly. He cleaned up everything before he left and moved things back in place - which were moved just so he could perform his work. It was a wonderful experience, I highly recommend using this company. -

1 month agoI highly recommend Verplank Electric. They went way above and beyond to diagnose why the breaker to our hot tub kept tripping. Once they replaced the breaker, they proceeded to check every wire in the tub to isolate the problem. Single-handedly saved our hot tub! Third company to assess the situation. The only one that actually fixed it. FANTASTIC SERVICE! -

1 month agoDave and his crew did a fantastic job, this is the second time I've used them on a commercial buildout and they are fast and efficient. The price is fair and the work is high quality. You won't be disappointed, give them a call.

Homeowners receive clear explanations to understand costs based on the specific job requirements.
Are you licensed and insured for electrical work?
VerPlank Electric Incorporated holds the necessary licensing and insurance required for electrical services in Grand Rapids, MI. Our team follows local codes for all installations and repairs, ensuring safe and compliant work. This coverage protects both our technicians and your property during projects.
