This company installed a new system just a few months ago. Parts are already failing. Customer service has been terrible. I've been without heat for over a month now and they have done nothing to accommodate me. Not even a phone call with an update as I'm still waiting to hear from them. Completely terrible and unprofessional company. Not to mention during the install they left a mess along with loose screws a caps missing on the refrigerant lines. Very disappointing. Do not use this company for any thing.

FAQ

How does Hampden County HVAC Inc. determine pricing for HVAC installations and repairs?

We base pricing on the specific scope of work, including equipment type, labor required, and any necessary materials like copper piping for installations. Custom quotes account for factors such as system sizing through load calculations to ensure efficiency for your home's layout, insulation, and local climate. Free estimates are provided upfront to outline all costs clearly before any commitment.

Are you licensed and insured for HVAC work?

Hampden County HVAC Inc. carries full licensing, bonding, and insurance, including workers' compensation and general liability to protect your property during installations or repairs. Our team also holds EPA 608 certification for handling refrigerants safely in mini-split systems and boilers. These credentials ensure compliance with Massachusetts regulations and provide recourse if issues arise.

Does Hampden County HVAC Inc. handle mini-split system installations and boiler replacements?

We install mini-split systems like Fujitsu outdoor condensers, boilers such as Buderus models, and tankless water heaters like Bosch units with proper copper piping. Our services cover both residential and commercial projects, including furnace and air handler setups in basements. Emergency heat restoration is also available for prompt no-heat situations.

What is your typical timeline and arrival process for HVAC jobs?

We schedule jobs with clear arrival windows and aim for prompt service, especially for emergencies where others may delay. Installations like boilers or mini-splits typically complete from deposit to finish within the agreed timeline, with on-site teams explaining the process. Expect us to protect your home with drop cloths and verify performance before leaving.

What happens to old equipment and debris after Hampden County HVAC Inc. completes a job?

We remove and dispose of old units like outdated water heaters or boilers responsibly as part of every installation. Our team leaves your space clean, sweeping up debris and ensuring no mess remains from copper piping or condenser setups. This includes proper handling of flue pipes and basement installations to maintain your home's condition.

Why is hiring you safer and better than attempting HVAC DIY projects?

Professional installations follow manufacturer specs for refrigerant charging, line set sizing, and airflow testing, preventing efficiency losses or system failures that DIY often causes. We conduct thorough evaluations of ductwork, electrical components, and static pressure to avoid common pitfalls like improper sizing from rule-of-thumb guesses. This approach extends equipment life and ensures code-compliant condensate drains and safety switches, reducing risks like leaks or electrical hazards.
