17 years agoThey were nice guys. They were very good. The work was fine but not outstanding. You can see the sanding marks but you shouldn?t be able to see them. There are a couple of blobs in corners which is made of polyurethane resin. There are run marks on the floor. They helped me with moving a piece of furniture that I couldn?t get. Their price was high.

FAQ
How does New England Flooring INC. determine pricing for carpet installation?
We base pricing on precise measurements of your space, the type of carpet selected, and any necessary removal of old flooring. Our quotes cover all aspects from prep work to installation, ensuring no hidden costs surprise you later. Contact us for a detailed estimate tailored to your project.
Do you offer free estimates for carpet contracting?
New England Flooring INC. provides free estimates to measure your space accurately and discuss your needs. We visit your location at 1064 Main St in Millis, MA 02054 or on-site to assess the job and offer a fair quote. This upfront step helps you understand the full scope without obligation.
Does New England Flooring INC. handle old flooring removal and subfloor prep for carpet installation?
We manage every step, including precise measurements, removal of old flooring, and proper site preparation to ensure a seamless fit. Our process starts with thorough prep to avoid issues like uneven surfaces that could affect the final result. This comprehensive approach guarantees the carpet lays flat and secure in any space.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for carpet installation jobs?
New England Flooring INC. schedules jobs with clear start times and works efficiently to complete installations in the agreed timeframe, often within a day for standard residential projects. We confirm arrival windows in advance and coordinate around your availability to minimize disruption. Factors like space size and prep needs influence the exact duration, which we outline during quoting.
How does New England Flooring INC. handle cleanup and debris after carpet installation?
We finish every job by removing all debris, including old flooring materials, and leave your space clean and ready to use. Our hands-on approach includes thorough site prep at the start and a spotless finish, so you avoid dealing with waste disposal. This ensures your home returns to normal quickly after installation.
Why is hiring you for carpet installation safer and better than attempting DIY?
Professional installation uses specialized tools and techniques for accurate cutting, stretching, and securing that prevent common DIY problems like bubbles, seams showing, or premature wear. We prep the subfloor correctly to support the carpet long-term, avoiding costly fixes from improper leveling or adhesive issues. DIY often skips these steps, leading to uneven results and shorter carpet lifespan.
