10 years agoVery unhappy with the results. Have owned 10 homes in the past 35 years and have had the floors done in all acquired homes and this is the first instance where there has been a result like this for my wife and I. - floors look like they were done 10 years ago versus 9 months ago - contractor completely missed a significant issue with part of the floor that needed to be corrected at time of service. It was not done and we are dealing with the impact of that miss. - Floors are spewing up poly and there are gaps in the floors between the floor boards. - at several points the floor boards have warped - I explained my concerns to the contractor on the results and the contractor has yet to correct the issues - I asked the contractor for follow up and mitigation for correction and have yet to hear back - Not sure we received all that we agreed to relative to all of the poly coatings committed to. - will need to redo the floors -

11 years ago. The floors came out great. Bill and his team were extremely dillegent, working round the clock to get the job done under a very tight time line. We had just bought the home and had a 10 day window to get this work completed along with some other jobs (i.e. painting, general contractor work, etc.). Bill worked with the other providers to ensure a seamless transition from each phase of the jobs. In the end we were very pleased with the outcome and would definitely use Bill again for any future jobs. -

12 years ago. Bill is a great guy. Very personable and funny. Fortunately for the purpose of this review, he is also very professional and did a great job installing a new floor in my grandson's room in Swampscott. This was not an easy job. Pulling up the old rug and linoleum beneath it was more of a job than Bill had envisioned but he never said anything about needing more money than he had originally quoted. The floor he selected matched the hallway perfectly. One would have thought they had been installed at the same time. He used leftover wood to install a new floor in the closet of an adjoining bedroom and didn't charge extra. It took Bill about 2 days to respond to my initial call. Once we had connected, he showed up on time to see what the job entailed. Once we decided to go with Bergeron Floors, the floor was installed on the promised day. . Another floor company had responded to my call and was to come to look at the job. That company (which gets good reviews on Angie's List) did not show up at the appointed time to look at the job even though the owner called and said he would be there within an hour. Never showed, never called with an explanation. Whereas Bill was funny and on-time, his competitor was rude. I highly recommend Bergeron Floors. -
