1 month agoThey are friendly and do good work but grossly overpriced. $380 to fix a leaky bathroom faucet. Yes, they came out twice, first time for fifteen minutes to tell me I needed a new part and second time to install the new part that I bought. But $380? Gimme a break. -

12 months agoEverything you could ask for - excellent customer service with Sue, great suggestions to check out products in a local showroom, followed by a stress free installation by master plumber Stephen who arrived on time, totally prepared and extremely conscientious. He explained as he worked, got everything looking great and cleaned up everything when he was done. Sounds crazy but we have never enjoyed paying a plumber more ! Had them back two weeks later to install a replacement toilet and had same extraordinary experience ! -

1 year agoWe've needed their services this summer and fall. From outdoor leaking faucet, main wastewater discharge drain compromised, reseated toilets, and lastly, a new gas fired boiler system. All completed correctly, professionally, and in a friendly manner. We've had a long relationship with the company, which will continue. -

FAQ
How does Uptack determine pricing for HVAC services?
We base pricing on the specific scope of work, including parts needed, labor time, and any required visits to diagnose and complete repairs. Straightforward pricing means no hidden fees, with details provided upfront in quotes. This approach covers everything from emergency HVAC fixes to full system installations in Haverhill homes.
Are you licensed and insured?
Uptack carries all necessary licensing, bonding, and insurance required for HVAC work in the area, including EPA 608 certification for handling refrigerants. We maintain workers' compensation and general liability coverage to protect your property during service. Proof of these is available upon request before any work begins.
Does Uptack handle HVAC air filter cleaning or replacement?
We inspect and replace or clean very dirty HVAC air filters as part of routine maintenance and repair services. This prevents reduced airflow and system strain, keeping your home comfortable year-round. Regular filter changes also improve efficiency and indoor air quality for Haverhill residents.
What is your typical timeline for HVAC repairs or installations?
We provide clear arrival windows and aim for prompt scheduling, often completing diagnostics in one visit when possible, with follow-ups for parts installation. Full system installations follow a defined process from quote to completion, with expectations set upfront. Responsive service ensures minimal disruption to your home routine.
What does Uptack do with debris and waste after HVAC service?
We remove old filters, parts, and any installation debris, leaving your home clean and tidy. Drop cloths and protective measures are used during work to safeguard floors and furnishings. Proper disposal follows local regulations for all HVAC-related waste.
Why is professional HVAC service safer than DIY?
Our approach includes proper equipment sizing, duct inspections, and refrigerant handling that requires certified expertise to avoid hazards like leaks or electrical issues. DIY attempts often overlook airflow testing and code compliance, risking system damage or inefficiency. We follow installation standards for safer, longer-lasting results compared to unverified home fixes.
