Today around 4:45pm while approaching the intersection of Water St. Connector and Fall River Expressway Extender/Broadway, heading towards Tiverton RI, a driver in a clearly marked The Chimney Chap - South Shore Chimney van suddenly cut into my lane after realizing they were in the wrong lane. The reckless, careless maneuver forced me to slam on my brakes to avoid a collision, dumping a full bag of groceries from the passenger seat to the floor. Destroying some delicate bakery items. This is a busy intersection with clearly marked lanes. When you drive a vehicle with a company's name on the side, you represent that business on the road. The dashcam clip speaks for itself. Careful who you allow into your homes from this company because they obviously don't hire the best and brightest. I wouldn't want careless people like that working in my home. -

1 year agoFirst let me say I don't typically write reviews... good or bad. However, I had such an amazing experience with South Shore Fireplace/The Chimney Chap that I had to let others know. From the very first phone call, Casey, in sales, worked with me to figure out exactly what I wanted and needed to exchange an outdated non-working gas fireplace with a sleek modern electric model. He communicated with me frequently so I always knew what to expect and always went above and beyond to get me the look I wanted, at the best price, in the shortest amount of time. Casey learned late in the game that the manufacturer had discontinued the door style we had ordered, but realizing they were my preference, he figured out a way to find them for me. The installers, Dylan and Mark, were just as fabulous to work with. They communicated arrival time to the minute and went above and beyond to make sure the fireplace looked perfect, even though that meant thinking outside the box a few times! Not to mention they honestly left my living room cleaner than when they arrived! I honestly can't write enough positive things about South Shore Fireplace/The Chimney Chap. Truly exceeded my expectations in every way and I would highly recommend them for your chimney/fireplace needs. -

They handled both jobs expeditiously and completely. They were neat, clean and efficient. They worked seamlessly with the town fire department, inspector and energy provider.
