Before they got off the phone, they even tried to troubleshoot a little over the phone. When the tech arrived he found out it was a simple and inexpensive fix. We are most grateful for the high quality service. -

9 months agoWe brought in Cold Comfort in 24' to upgrade our AC+gas furnace into a fully electric heat pump. From providing quotes of various product / product tiers, to implementing the work, Cold Comfort team was patient, punctual, on-time, clean, and paying attention to details. Icing on the cake was someone in the crew was able to properly transplant a hydrangea to make room for the heat pump. We appreciate their work, and we'd recommend them to anybody. Glad to have them in the neighborhood. -

1 year agoI can't say enough good things about Cold Comfort. I selected them based on their Yelp rating and being local (Rockville). I've had only so-so experiences with previous HVAC companies. I needed to replace my 20 year old heat pump in my attic. I had three companies bid for the job. They recommended an excellent Bosch variable speed unit and did the entire replacement in one day, in an absolute downpour. Arrived on time, worked all day into the early evening. Totally professional, very friendly, and spent as much time as I needed to show me everything I wanted to know. They went above and beyond, having to repair some existing ductwork, and after they were done, the bill was actually less than quoted! They were extremely neat, cleaned everything up. My upstairs is nice and toasty warm now! I couldn't be happier. Cold Comfort will be managing my two HVAC systems from now on. I absolutely recommend Cold Comfort.
