10 years agoHired "The Maids" to do pre move-in cleaning, of an empty house. Was quoted $275 and charged $510. Upon arriving at our new home found that it pretty much "hadn't" been cleaned. Specifically asked for the floors to be scrubbed by hand and that the kitchen cabinets and drawers be cleaned, yet they were filthy. To their credit, they did do a good job with the 2 bathrooms and upon our calling them about the above issues they refunded us $210. -

13 years agoI felt they were very surface cleaners. The refrigerator top was wiped, but could have been wiped again. The back door window and front window sills and tracks were not done. Attention to detail was definitely not there. They were in and out. 1.5 hours. Of course they were paid by the hour. So no Sally, not a good job by all means. But yet you talked up how great it was. Also forgot to mention that I did the stainless kitchen sink after they left along with wiping sills and tracks, and above refrigerator myself. Also below toilet rims looked untouched along with areas of dusting.
