8 months agoJeff and his team (the fellas) were so personable, friendly and professional. They completed a huge project on my house, to include repairs to trim around the chimney, roof, door frame, surrounding lower structures, and shingles caused by water damage. They installed a new deck and painted the home. The estimate was very reasonable and the cost did not change after the job was done. The restoration was outstanding!!!! My 70 year old home looks near new. What l loved most is not having to hire other contractors, they did it all!! I could contact Jeff and he would immediately get back. I will continue to only recommend Jeff and the fellas for restoration repairs and I'll use them again for future projects. -

FAQ
How does Paul Davis Restoration of Greater Portland, ME determine pricing for water damage restoration?
We assess the extent of water damage, including affected areas like walls, floors, and trim, to provide a detailed quote based on mitigation, drying, and reconstruction needs. Homeowners receive a clear breakdown of costs after our initial inspection. Factors such as the source of water, like floods or leaks, influence the scope and final price.
Are you licensed and insured for fire and water damage restoration work?
Paul Davis Restoration of Greater Portland, ME holds all necessary licensing and insurance required for water damage and fire restoration services in the area. Our teams follow industry standards to ensure safe and compliant work on residential properties. This coverage protects both your home and our crew during emergency response and repairs.
Does Paul Davis Restoration of Greater Portland, ME handle tasks like removing damaged drywall and squeegeeing standing water during water damage remediation?
We manage the full scope of water damage tasks, from squeegeeing standing water on floors to cutting out and removing damaged drywall and wet insulation. Our crew wears hazmat suits and respirators for safe remediation of flooded areas. This comprehensive approach covers inspection, extraction, drying, and structural repairs like floors and trim.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for emergency water damage calls?
We respond to emergency calls 24/7, arriving quickly to start mitigation, often the same day as in cases of ice dams or electrical fires. Projects vary by damage size, but we complete huge repairs efficiently while coordinating schedules to minimize disruption. Expect clear communication on timelines after our on-site assessment.
How does Paul Davis Restoration of Greater Portland, ME handle cleanup and debris removal after restoration?
We remove all debris, including damaged drywall, insulation, and water-extracted materials, leaving your property clean and organized. Our process includes thorough site cleanup post-mitigation and reconstruction to ensure no hazards remain. Homeowners can focus on recovery while we manage waste disposal properly.
Why is hiring you for water damage restoration safer than attempting DIY fixes?
Professional equipment like industrial drying tools and moisture meters detects hidden water that DIY methods often miss, preventing mold growth and further structural issues. Our trained teams in hazmat gear handle contaminated water safely, avoiding health risks from exposure. Attempting repairs without expertise can lead to incomplete drying and costly re-damage later.
