I am also here to warn others that Taylor and Tyler is no longer in existence. When I called I was redirected to Southern Air Nola. I thought, "How much different could they be?" My takeaway is very different. Two weeks later, I'm 3 grand poorer, and I've had to deal with them several times. They are clearly all about upselling you on all these needs you might have. We just wanted to get our HVAC serviced like we used to by Taylor and Tyler. They might find the need to put freon in or had an occasional repair recommendation. But I don't remember them charging over 400 dollars for parts that cost under 10 dollars. Evidently the cost of labor for them is a minimum of $400. I'm all in favor of people making a living wage, but that seems exorbitant. I had them out a second time because all of a sudden it wasn't working and I assumed they had done something wrong. They claimed another part wasn't working and it would be another $400. It was also not their fault because these things go out all the time, and They'd have had no idea about this a week earlier. I paid it because we have a baby in a freezing house. I would never call them again. Other than to make sure that my year long "Membership" does not renew.

They charged my parents almost $600 to clean their unit. They spent less than an hour there. They took off the fee for driving out there so I'm grateful for that. I will never refer T&T!

I've used Taylor and Tyler for over 4 years with great success, as a military member managing a small property from a distance. They have lost my business due to an idiotic new policy. It will allow significantly less flexibility in addressing tenant issues, since it now requires property manager or owner on site for all repairs, despite no concerns over tenants being there ever having occurred with my property over the years. I am sorry to have lost them as a viable option and will be seeking another solution. They're bureaucratically run now and no longer flexible to working with customers. Good luck to you if you have a unique need. The customer service manager was coldly unhelpful.

5/15/24 I've done business with T&T for a number of years, and because I'm a real estate agent, I also referred business to them. Today marks the last day I will ever do business with Taylor & Tyler. They have recently been purchased by Southern Air, so there's no more local independent ownership, but I was told there would be no changes. Well, I had an appointment for T&T to inspect two mini split systems and one standard HVAC system in a home two of my clients are in the process of buying. At exactly the same time the tech was supposed to be at the house for the inspection, I was called by T&T (now owned by Southern Air) and was told that the new management policy dictated that unless the Mini-Split systems were bought from Southern Air, that they would not come out to inspect them. Goodbye Southern Air, you have already succeeded in screwing up a previously very good business.

The tech seemed good. I think so anyway. The office however is awful. They don't listen, assume they know better than you and they will out and out lie. We called at 830am and several times throughout the day. The company had come out a few days earlier and based on that the office staff thought they knew what was going on with the system. They were wrong... Finally we insisted someone come and check it after waiting all day and we had to pay a after hours fee. The best part is we had to pay up front before they even knew what was wrong with system. Be ready to write a check or pay an additional fee for using a card. Really not easy to work with.

HVAC systems are complex, and improper diagnosis or DIY repairs can damage equipment, void warranties, and create safety hazards. Our technicians use specialized diagnostic tools to measure refrigerant charge, airflow, static pressure, and electrical connections accurately. A professional inspection identifies all potential issues at once, preventing costly problems down the road and ensuring your system runs safely and efficiently.
