7 months agoHad a problem tree from my neighbor's yard that was rotted out and over the last 20 years had caused repetitive power outages by throwing limbs as it continued to decay. The neighbors whose yard the tree was growing in FINALLY agreed to have it cut down completely and had chosen Ferguson's Tree Care to do the job. However due to the way the tree was growing, they needed access through my yard as most of the tree was growing over my fence and leaning into my property. Having had a lot of problems with Entergy's chosen tree companies damaging my driveway by bringing in huge cherry picker machines/trucks over the years due to power outages caused by this tree, I was very concerned as to what kind of equipment this company would be using before giving them access to my driveway and backyard to cut down this problem tree. Mr Carl Ferguson who is the owner of this company was very professional and explained what type of equipment they utilized which wouldn't cause damage to my new driveway and/or backyard lawn since they would have to come way into my backyard up to the fence line to cut down at least the top half of the tree leaning over onto my property line. Once they had it cut back enough they would then go into the neighbor's yard to cut it down to the ground. Mr Carl explained that they have large heavy duty pads they put over the grass to help with weight distribution of the equipment. As promised he brought in equipment that was large enough to do the job, but not so large as to damage my new driveway or lawn. His crew arrived promptly early in the morning, with lots of workers and equipment to do the job. Since he was already going to be on my side of the yard to chop down the top half of my neighbor's tree infringing on my property, I negotiated a price with Mr Carl to also cut down 2 small dead trees on MY property and also some minor tree trimming to take advantage of his crew while on site for the neighbor's tree issue. His price for my share of the work on my property side was reasonable. I was extremely pleased with the work that they performed and the workman did not twiddle their thumbs...they all worked hard, quickly and professionally. Did a wonderful job of cleaning up too. Blew off my cement areas that had debris and did a great job of raking and collecting all the little leaves and branches that were left on the green spaces. Of course all the big pieces of the tree were also hauled off as well. Definitely recommend Carl Ferguson's Tree service. -

2 years agoI would highly recommend Ferguson Tree Service to have trees removed. They recently removed a large water oak in my backyard & was very quick & efficient. My yard was completely cleaned by the crew. They use big equipment to get the job done & reasonably priced. The crew was outstanding!
