11 years agoWork was performed to the letter of my instructions and they were able to get the job done earlier than the estimater quoted me. There was one mishap, but it was due to my inattentiveness. One of the trees removed was a large thick cedar tree. I failed to notice that two saplings were growing next to the trunk of the ccedar. Capital City Tree removed the cedar tree and left the saplings. An honest mistake, since I did not request those trees be taken out, but after I called them and explained my oversight they were happy to come and remove the saplings at no additional charge. Very professional, very prompt, will definitely use them in the future. -

12 years agoThe men arrived at 3:00pm and worked until the job was done, about 6:30pm. They removed all of the huge limbs from our old tree without damaging our picket fence or the small maple that has been trying to grow for years. They took great care to remove the limbs without damaging any of our property. They didn't trample on any of our new plants just purchased this spring. When all the limbs were removed, they raked the small branches and detritus from our yard. I am so impressed by the work ethic and professionalism of the employees of this company. They all stayed until the job was finished. Our yard is immaculate. We use this company approximately once a year to keep the many trees in our back yard off the electric lines and cleared out from possible damage to our home or the homes and yards of our neighbors. We made a mistake about a year ago by hiring a young man who stopped by our home. He cut the limbs that we had agree on, but he also damaged personal property in our yard and didn't bother to clean up any of the branches. The difference between Capital City Tree Care and this other tree service was so obvious to us. We won't make that mistake again. We will always use Capital City Tree Care for the work we need around our home.
