4 months agoCompany truck currently driving on I 65 S. in Mobile, Alabama like he doesn't have a drivers license. Does not use blinkers. Driving 45 mph in left fast lane. Almost hit me when he merged. -

8 months agoCouldn't care less about the quality of their work. They need to make sure their employees aren't speeding and zipping in and out of traffic. Too many accidents in Louisiana as is. Where are you in such a rush to? We're all going home at this time...SLOW DOWN in that F150 -

FAQ
How does GW Oliver Aquatics determine pricing for pool construction projects?
We provide custom quotes based on your specific project scope, size, design complexity, and materials selected. Every pool and outdoor living space is unique, so we assess factors like excavation requirements, water features, landscaping integration, and any special finishes you want. We recommend scheduling a consultation at our Baton Rouge location so we can discuss your vision in detail and provide an accurate estimate tailored to your needs.
Are you licensed and insured to perform pool construction work?
GW Oliver Aquatics operates as a family-run business with over two decades of experience building residential and commercial pools across the Gulf Coast region. We work with major hotel chains, property management companies, and residential clients who trust us to handle complex construction projects. For specific licensing and insurance details, we recommend calling us directly at 225-757-5577 to verify our current credentials.
What outdoor living services does GW Oliver Aquatics offer beyond pool construction?
Beyond swimming pools, we design and build complete outdoor living spaces including outdoor kitchens, patios, and landscaping features that integrate seamlessly with your pool area. Our expertise in landscape architecture allows us to create cohesive backyard designs where the pool becomes part of a larger resort-style environment. Whether you need just the pool or a full outdoor transformation, we handle the complete project from concept through installation.
How long does a typical pool construction project take from start to finish?
GW Oliver Aquatics structures timelines based on project complexity, weather conditions, and design specifications. A residential pool typically progresses through excavation, shell construction, plumbing and electrical installation, finishing, and landscaping phases. We prioritize timely completion while maintaining quality standards, and we keep you informed throughout each stage so you know what to expect next.
What happens to construction debris and how is the site cleaned up after GW Oliver Aquatics finishes?
We manage debris removal and site cleanup as part of our construction process to leave your property in proper condition. Our team handles excavated soil, concrete waste, and construction materials according to local disposal standards. Once the pool and surrounding areas are complete, we ensure your yard is cleaned and ready for you to enjoy your new outdoor space.
Why should I hire a professional pool contractor instead of attempting this as a DIY project?
Pool construction requires specialized knowledge in excavation, structural engineering, plumbing, electrical systems, and safety codes that go far beyond typical DIY work. Improper digging, drainage, or equipment installation can lead to structural failure, water damage, or safety hazards that are expensive to fix. Our experience and established relationships with quality subcontractors ensure the work meets exacting standards, is completed efficiently, and provides a pool that functions properly and lasts for decades.
