8 months agoWe had a water heater malfunction. I called serve pro of Davies County. The came out and handled the demolition of two rooms after a contract signing. Then a week later I find out they charged over my insurance well over $4000. They then created a bid for the rebuild project. A week later they dropped the project saying that they had too many other projects to handle. They dropped the project because they grossly underestimated the cost of the repairs and then would not honor that bid. I have gone through hell to find another contractor. The same contractor stated "Serve Pro had been working on the home when the owner called the contractor because of how horribly they were destroying the project. The contractor came to look at the project. The owner and the contractor both had to run Serve Pro out of the property. The contractor then worked for three days just to repair the damages and mess Serve Pro left behind". I wouldn't let Serve pro work on my dog house. They can't be trusted to complete a job correctly. HENCE THE ONE STAR! BE WARNED! -

9 months agoI can't say enough good things about the customer service at SERVPRO. From the moment I reached out, their team was incredibly responsive, friendly, and genuinely willing to help. They took the time to listen to my concerns, explain the entire process in detail, and made me feel confident every step of the way. Their willingness to go above and beyond did not go unnoticed - they showed real care and compassion during a very stressful situation. It's clear that customer satisfaction is a top priority for them, and it made all the difference. If you're looking for a team that's reliable, supportive, and truly puts your needs first, SERVPRO is the one to call. Highly recommend! -

FAQ
How does SERVPRO of Daviess County determine pricing for water damage restoration?
We provide custom estimates based on the scope of damage, affected area size, and equipment needed for your specific situation. Our team assesses factors like water extraction requirements, drying time, and any structural damage to give you an accurate quote. We recommend calling us at (270) 683-1888 to schedule an on-site evaluation, which helps us provide a detailed and transparent estimate before work begins.
Are you licensed and insured to handle water damage restoration?
SERVPRO of Daviess County operates with trained restoration technicians and advanced equipment to handle water damage professionally and safely. We've been serving the Owensboro area for over 20 years, and our team is equipped to manage everything from initial water extraction to complete property recovery. Our experience and professional standards ensure your property is restored properly.
What specific water damage services does SERVPRO of Daviess County provide?
We handle water extraction, carpet cleaning, fire damage restoration, and complete water damage recovery for both residential and commercial properties. Our services include flood cleanup, leak damage restoration, and the use of professional dehumidifiers and air movers to dry your property thoroughly. We also address secondary issues like mold and mildew that can develop after water damage.
How quickly can you arrive at my home during a water emergency?
SERVPRO of Daviess County operates 24/7 emergency response, meaning we're available any time of day or night when you need us. Our team is trained to respond rapidly to minimize water damage and prevent further property deterioration. What happens to water, debris, and damaged materials after SERVPRO of Daviess County completes restoration?
We handle the complete cleanup and removal of water, damaged materials, and debris as part of our restoration process. Our team properly disposes of contaminated water and damaged items according to safety standards, leaving your property clean and safe. We manage the entire process so you don't have to worry about disposal logistics during an already stressful situation.
Why is professional water damage restoration better than trying to handle it yourself?
Professional restoration uses industrial-grade equipment like commercial dehumidifiers and air movers that dry properties far more effectively than household fans or open windows. Our trained technicians understand moisture patterns, structural drying requirements, and how to prevent mold growth and secondary damage that DIY approaches often miss. We also have the expertise to assess hidden water damage in walls, under flooring, and in other areas that aren't immediately visible to homeowners.
