2 months agoI had the pleasure of working with Protect Environmental for install of radon system. The customer service and installation process was with high quality and consideration of property. The installer worked very diligently and did not stop. The test results provided me with confidence in the system. Our area has high levels of radon. Give them a call for your radon system. -

5 months agoAbsolutely horrible!!! Came out to my apartment complex in accordance with some Jefferson county order. Drilled outside of my bedroom wall for 3 days then went underneath my apartment and proceeded with loud bangs for 8 hours a day. I am third shift and my landlord suggested getting a hotel room and they would not reimburse me. Workers caught attitudes and played music and rapped while they worked: mind you this is outside my bedroom and underneath in the apartment. All day: drilling, banging and bad music playing echoing from The walls and under the floor. I hate this and pray I never encounter these people again! -

6 months agoWe've lived in our home for 20 years and never imagined radon could be an issue-until we discovered our levels were extremely high. Doug from Protect Environmental came out for the consultation and was absolutely fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and kind, and never made us feel pressured. Corey handled the installation and did a great job. Both Doug and Corey were courteous, efficient, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. We're so grateful for their help and highly recommend Protect Environmental to anyone needing radon mitigation! -

FAQ
How does Protect Environmental - 9822 Bluegrass Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40299 determine pricing for radon testing and mitigation?
We base pricing on the size of your home, the specific radon levels detected during initial testing, and the type of mitigation system required, such as sub-slab depressurization or interior piping. Custom quotes ensure you only pay for necessary work without unnecessary add-ons. Free estimates are provided after an on-site assessment to give you a clear picture of costs upfront.
Are you licensed and insured for radon mitigation and mold remediation work?
Protect Environmental - 9822 Bluegrass Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40299 maintains all required certifications for our certified team handling radon testing, mitigation, vapor intrusion, and mold remediation services. We carry appropriate insurance to protect your property during installations like exterior and basement radon systems. Homeowners can request proof of licensing and coverage before we start any project.
Does Protect Environmental - 9822 Bluegrass Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40299 handle radon mitigation systems and mold remediation in Louisville homes?
We specialize in installing radon mitigation systems, including exterior units and interior basement pipes, as well as mold remediation for residential properties in the Louisville area. Our services also cover vapor intrusion mitigation to address related indoor air quality issues. These tailored solutions meet both residential and commercial needs effectively.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for scheduling radon testing or mitigation?
We schedule appointments within a few days of your request and provide a 2-hour arrival window to fit your availability. Radon testing usually takes 1-2 hours on-site, while mitigation installations are completed in one day for most homes. Follow-up checks are arranged shortly after to verify reduced radon levels.
What happens to debris and how do you leave the house after Protect Environmental - 9822 Bluegrass Pkwy, Louisville, KY 40299 completes a job?
We remove all waste materials, such as drill cuttings from mitigation pipe installations and any mold remediation debris, disposing of them properly off-site. Our team uses drop cloths and shoe covers to protect floors and furnishings during the work. You can expect your home to be left clean and ready for immediate use, with no mess behind.
Why is your professional radon mitigation approach better and safer than DIY methods?
Our certified team customizes mitigation plans based on precise testing and home-specific factors, ensuring systems like exterior fans and basement pipes effectively lower radon below safe levels. DIY attempts often fail due to improper sealing or fan sizing, potentially leaving harmful vapors unaddressed and risking health issues. We include follow-up testing for lasting protection that DIY lacks.
