7 months agoDecent place. Really easy to drop a off and organized. I rated it a 2 star because I just took a small load since it's not somewhere I typically go to which I take haul scrap every weekend and they are paying $50 dollars less than everyone else I would be a regular if they competed with everyone else. It's my fault for assuming they would be close in pay. Prob won't be back for that reason and I typically haul big stuff. 20 ton and they are closer to my house. But I'll drive 1.5 hours one way for a company that pays better -

FAQ
How does Bailey Recycling and Scrap Metal determine pricing for scrap drop-off?
Pricing is determined by the type and weight of the scrap metal, such as ferrous and non-ferrous metals, electronics, and cans. We weigh your load upon arrival and provide a transparent quote based on current market rates for each material. This ensures you receive fair value for your recyclable waste without hidden fees.
Are you licensed and insured?
Bailey Recycling and Scrap Metal operates as a stand-up business with great leadership and a moral, ethical model that prioritizes doing the right thing for customers. We maintain proper licensing and insurance to handle scrap metal processing safely. Our team sorts and processes materials responsibly to protect both people and the environment.
Does Bailey Recycling and Scrap Metal handle electronics like TVs and scrap metal such as auto parts?
We handle electronics including TVs, noting that flat screens lack tubes and chemicals while older tube TVs contain powdery substances that require careful processing. Scrap metal like rusty auto parts and other ferrous and non-ferrous items are sorted efficiently in our organized yard. Bring your materials during posted hours for quick drop-off and transparent handling.
What are your hours and scheduling expectations for drop-off?
Bailey Recycling and Scrap Metal posts specific hours on our website and Google profile, so check those before your visit to avoid inconvenience like closures on holidays. We aim for quick in-and-out service during open times, especially for straightforward scrap loads. Arrive prepared with sorted materials to minimize wait times.
What happens to the waste and debris after drop-off at Bailey Recycling and Scrap Metal?
We process your ferrous and non-ferrous metals, electronics, and cans through organized recycling with transparent methods that divert materials from landfills. Sorted items go into designated containers for efficient reuse or proper disposal. This leaves no mess behind as everything is handled on-site during your visit.
Why is your professional approach better than handling scrap DIY?
Our organized efficiency gets you in and out quickly without the hassle of personal hauling, sorting, or finding buyers. We use proper equipment and knowledge, like distinguishing safe flat-screen TVs from tube models with hazardous powders, avoiding DIY risks. Professionals ensure ethical processing that maximizes material value through transparent markets, safer than unmanaged backyard piles.
