10 months agoWe were looking for a good flooring contractor to repair several areas of laminate floor that were peeling up in our home. Richie's did an excellent job surgically carving out the damaged boards and replacing them. The result was as if the damage never occurred. Richie's was on time and the lady I spoke to on the phone was very friendly. -

1 year agoI can't say carpets are anyone's favorite, but Richie and his team really crushed it! After some minor basement flooding, I had to tear out my carpets and padding. Thankfully, I was able to salvage the carpets but needed new padding. I called four other companies, and none could get me in for at least two months. Then I called Richie's Flooring LLC and had the pleasure of speaking with Katie, who squeezed me in for a consultation that very day. Just two days later, Richie and his team were at my house, getting the job done faster than the time he originally quoted! He tightened everything up, and honestly, my carpets look even better than when we first bought the house. I'm always cautious about hiring someone on an hourly rate, but Richie was efficient, professional, and fair-getting everything done in even less time than expected. On top of all that, Richie is a veteran who goes out of his way to take care of fellow veterans. If you're looking to support a veteran-owned business or are a service member/veteran yourself in need of a great flooring company, this is it! -

1 year agoRichie and Paul did such an amazing job on the epoxy floor in our garage. We had foundation repair, sealing, and custom concrete work done underneath the epoxy floor with them. They are expert craftsmen, experienced, reliable, professional, and polite. They vacuumed the driveway and cleaned up everything. If they don't answer the phone, they are working. Send a text message or leave a voicemail. We trust Richie's Flooring and love their work. The photos are a mix of Shoreline Signature Blend and Hypnotic Blue. So nice! -

1 year agoRichie and Paul were very pleasant to work with. Ritchie is very passionate about what he does. However, the craftsmanship leaves much to be desired. Laundry room (mosaic): The mosaic tile was poorly laid resulting in inconsistent grout lines. The tile turned out crooked due to the room not being perfectly straight but we feel had he started in a different corner it would have turned out straighter with the crooked pieces hidden behind the washer and dryer. The mosaic tile grout likes are entirely inconsistent and non existent in some of the tile. They replaced some broken tile and did not sand down the mortar resulting in slightly elevated pieces. Laziness and lack of pride in worked around the closet door jams and gaps were left that floor boards wouldn't cover and filled in with an excessive amount of grout. Bathrooms (black 12x24): looks good to the eye but the tiles were not set in straight and it can easily be felt with your feet while using the bathroom. Multiple bags of grout were used and not mixed together resulting in color variations between the grout. Additionally the grout lines are very inconsistent again in each room. Poor attention to detail and lazy craftsmanship were used along the edges resulting in noticeable gaps under the floor trim. Master bath had previously uninstalled floor boards. Tile was cut and layed that will have gaps once the floorboards are reinstalled. Most likely requiring quarter round trim to be added. He was explicitly told that we did not want to have the addition of quarter round, yet left gaps too large for the existing trim to cover up. Timeliness: three rooms took Richie, Paul and occasionally an extra helper 13 working days to complete (5 of which we were out of town and they had 24/7 access to the house). Granted the job required the previous floor adhesive to be sanded but shouldn't have added more than a day or two. Richie consistently showed up late (2-4hrs) a day and would typically only work from 11-4pm with a lunch break. Occasionally they worked later, but still showed up late. This dragged the project out for an excessive amount of time given the scope of work. He was attempting to leave us a working toilet during the tile install, but had he planned appropriately and used the entire 4 day week we left him with the house total empty it shouldn't have taken as long. Overall extremely disappointed. While the tile was installed correctly (ie ditra, mortar, etc) the actual attention to detail and pride in their work seems to be missing. Additionally, for working in a lived in home, they made minimal attempts to clean up after themselves. I understand not dusting a room but leaving mortar and grout all over the walls and cabinets is unacceptable. Lastly, the tile was stored in the garage and they left all of the excess cut pieces and pieces with mortar on them sitting in the garage. I understand leaving the extra tile (I bought it) but to leave the scraps for me to throw away seems ridiculous. Thousands of dollars feels wasted for something I could have gotten from a big box store contractor and atleast had it done in week. -

2 years agoWhat's there not to love about Richie's? His work is impeccable, top-notch, and done right! There's not an urgency to just get the job done. He is meticulous with his work and has perfected his craft. Richie is a great guy and leads a hard-working team. He removed 11 year old ceramic tile from our home and installed laminate flooring throughout. His team was thorough and helped to maintain a clean environment. We will use them again! Thank you Richie's!
