6 years agoTo say the least it has been the worst experience of middle-aged lives. Today is Feb 27th and we think they are saying its finished. The duct work was never sealed at all, they vacumed it out on Jan 13th after it sat full of oily soot for 3 months. In that time they painted only 1 coat, layed new (cheap carpet) & vinyl (cheapest available, we had high quality products in the house, a little dated but nice). When they did duct work it blew out thru vents a blackened carpet and went all over everything that had been done. They then took out the furnace filter and did not replace it til Jan 27th with inefficient 3.99 filters. All this time we have been staying out in the office that does not have a shower or hot water so we have had to shower in the house. On Nov. 22 Truitt Simmons co-owner informed us it wasnt our house and he could change the locks on us. The first painter who we were informed he didnt care for but had nobody else damaged so many items in the house that will not be repaired. They even painted over switch plates, curtain rod brackets etc there are chunks of drywall missing soot is still on everything, paint on all the woodwork, you walk across the new carpet your socks turn dark gray..I could go on and on. I have photo to show that would make you think they were photo shopped.
