  If I am able to give 0 stars, that would be too many. Complete lack of communication, horrible work performed and lack of accountability from owner. Materials not ordered in a timely manner, wrong sizes of materials, heck even the egress window won't open! 11 months to complete a 600 square foot apartment. Wow, never been more dissatisfied.

  Beware of terrible project management, nonexistent communication, and lazy invoicing. Contacted Servpro to take care of water damage from the 2020 Derecho. The project immediately got delayed due to the ongoing pandemic. Servpro about a month working in my house but, somehow, they were able to drag the project out to last over 6 months. Their project management skills are extremely lacking, most of the work that got done was due to me reaching out to the project manager. I rarely received unsolicited updates about the progress. They damaged ceilings and floors that were out of the scope of the original project. Items in my house went missing while they were the only ones to have access to my property (they did compensate me for one of the items and returned the other after several months of me demanding). Then, when all the work is finally complete, they tried to over charge for the services they provided. While reviewing the final itemized invoice, I noticed they tried to charge me for reusing crown molding at the same rate as the room where they replaced with new crown molding. I also had to argue with them over a charge to replace an electrical wire that they had damaged during the demo. Had I not reviewed their invoice, they would have charged me ~$800 more than they did. It has been less than a year since I got my house back from Servpro and I continue to find findings that they neglected to address while working in my house. I have found and had to repair 2 walls where mold grew and ate the drywall to the point where it flet spongy to the touch. Now I am replacing the sheet vinyl floor that they failed to install with no bubbles present. This wasn't due to a lack of trying, they had every opportunity to get it right... they tried at least 5 times then resorted to claiming it was a problem with the subfloor. Well, while timing around one of the bubbles, I found a wood screw under the sheet vinyl... NO WONDER THE FLOOR KEPT BUBBLING. This is the quality of work they will provide and go out of their way to defend. Do yourself a favor and don't use Servpro of Ames.
