3 years agoI would highly recommend this company as they were on time, courteous, clean and quiet. If I wasn't for the fact that I was there when he fixed my furnace I wouldn't have he had been there. My 3yr old granddaughter slept through the whole visit and he was in and out in no time. When it came time to pay it was more than fair. In fact it was more than half of what I expected it to be. May G-D bless this company for being honest and fair with their customers. -

FAQ
How does Debbie's Heating and Cooling determine pricing for furnace repair or AC installation?
We provide upfront pricing based on the specific needs of your HVAC system after an initial assessment. This includes costs for parts like furnaces or air handlers from brands we install, labor, and any required materials without hidden fees. Free estimates are available to give you a clear picture before any work begins.
Are you licensed and insured for HVAC work?
Debbie's Heating and Cooling carries full licensing, bonding, and insurance to meet all local requirements in South Bend for HVAC services. Our team also holds EPA 608 certification for handling refrigerants safely during repairs and installations. This coverage protects your home from any potential issues during the job.
Does Debbie's Heating and Cooling handle mini-split installations or humidifier additions?
We install outdoor units like Fujitsu mini-splits for efficient zoning in your home, along with furnaces from brands such as Goodman that include attached humidifiers. Our services extend to servicing Rheem AC condensers and installing Evcon or Tempstar furnace and air handler units. These installations ensure proper sizing and performance tailored to South Bend homes.
What is your typical arrival window and scheduling process?
We offer same-day availability for emergency heating calls and aim to arrive within the agreed time window for routine tune-ups or installations. Expect clear communication on timelines, with on-time service to minimize disruption to your day. Our process includes confirming your appointment details upfront for smooth coordination.
Does Debbie's Heating and Cooling clean up after furnace or AC service?
We leave your home clean and tidy after every job, removing all debris from furnace repairs, AC installations, or maintenance. Technicians use protective measures like drop cloths to safeguard your floors and spaces during work. This ensures your property is respected and ready for immediate use once we're done.
Why is it safer to hire you for seasonal HVAC maintenance instead of doing it yourself?
Professional tune-ups involve checking refrigerant levels, electrical components, and airflow that require specialized tools and expertise to avoid risks like electrical hazards or system damage. DIY attempts can lead to improper handling of high-voltage parts or overlooked issues that shorten equipment life. Our trained team follows industry standards for safer, more effective maintenance that keeps your system running efficiently.
