2 months agoI cannot say enough how great this place is. Paula was absolutely amazing with helping me choose my flooring. She kept searching until she found the right hardwood color that I wanted AND I was picky! She was patient and delivered. I shopped around and they gave me the best price. Customer service was top notch. I would not buy flooring anywhere else. They are knowledgeable and overall I had a fantastic experience! Thank you so much! -

3 months agoThe showroom is nice but that's where the good experience ended for us. We had them redo our dining room floor. We decided on the floor and were told 7-10 business days for the flooring to come in. I had to call on the 11th day to see what was going on. The flooring was at a warehouse but no one made an effort to call us. The day came for the install and the installers show up in beat up old vans. No identifying logos or anything. The tear out of the old floor was a disaster. The supervisor decided he didn't want to buy a tool and he left after a couple hours and the other guy left after half a day. They left the inside and outside of the house a mess. The floor got installed the next day and I had to fight with the store staff about the charges. -

7 months agoWe had our carpet and hardwood floors laid and we actually had hardwood in the bathroom late as well. Once all the work was done I was completely happy but we've come to find out that the toilet was not put back correctly. It was not even screwed back to the floor it was sitting on top. Nothing else. We noticed a smell in the bathroom. Then my husband happened to sit down on the toilet and realized it was not connected. So Mr Powers and he sent a different gentleman to come out to fix the toilet. He told me it was fixed. So I thought the problem was taken care of within just a few days, the smell became horrific, and it's not like my bathroom was an outhouse. And it started affecting the rest of the house, unable to get hold of Mr. powers to let him know of the situation, we had to call out a plumber to correct the problem. Mr plummer came out and and showed us what the problem was, the gentleman bat was supposed to repair the toilet, broke a piece of what I'm considering is the round circle. Please forgive me if I'm not saying any of those words because I don't know how to pronounce them. And also, he did not put a rubber ring down that had been broken from the The first guy who tried to fix the toilet. So in turn, the palmer had to fix our toilet $900 later, Mr. powers is not responding to any phone calls, emails or any kinds . So if this is the kind of person that you want to work on your house. Then be my guest. -

FAQ
How does Carpets Mostly determine pricing for carpet installation and flooring services?
We assess the square footage, type of flooring like carpet or hardwood, and any additional work such as stretching or trimming to provide a custom quote. Factors like room preparation and material selections also influence the final cost. Visiting our showroom at 3230 W Southport Rd in Indianapolis helps you see options and get an accurate estimate tailored to your home.
Are you licensed and insured for carpet and flooring work?
Carpets Mostly carries the necessary licensing and insurance to protect your home during installations. Our team follows local standards for carpet stretching, hardwood flooring, and tile work. This coverage ensures you're safeguarded against any issues that may arise on the job.
Does Carpets Mostly handle hardwood flooring in bathrooms and carpet stretching for stairs?
We install hardwood flooring selections in colors to match your needs, including in bathrooms, and handle carpet stretching and trimming for areas like stairs and basements. Our services cover full installations from bedrooms to finished basements, ensuring a proper fit. Photos of our completed projects show carpeted staircases and basement rooms with seamless results.
What is the typical timeline for a Carpets Mostly flooring project?
We complete most jobs quickly, often stretching and trimming carpets or installing hardwood in a short time frame once materials arrive. Expect 7-10 business days for flooring delivery before installation starts, depending on your selections. Our team works efficiently to minimize disruption in your home.
Do you handle cleanup and debris removal after installation?
We remove old carpet and debris from the job site, leaving your rooms clean and ready to use. Our process includes proper disposal of waste materials after stretching, trimming, or full installations. This ensures your home, from living rooms to basements, is left in good condition.
Why is professional carpet installation safer and better than doing it yourself?
Our experienced team uses specialized tools for precise stretching and trimming to prevent wrinkles, bubbles, or loose edges that DIY attempts often cause. We ensure subfloors are properly prepared and materials acclimate correctly for long-lasting results without safety risks like uneven surfaces. Homeowners avoid injuries from heavy lifting or cutting, and achieve professional-quality fits in tricky areas like stairs and bathrooms.
