8 months agoAaron York Heating and Cooling isn't just a company that takes care of people-they care deeply about the well-being of animals too. Their commitment to keeping homes comfortable extends beyond families to the pets we love, making sure our dogs stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter. It's rare to find a company that combines professional service with such compassion for animal welfare. Their support of rescue efforts shows they aren't just in business to provide heating and cooling-they're in the business of making lives better. We are truly grateful for a company that puts both people and pets first. The Four Legged Ranch -

1 year agoYork's Quality Air came out and did a full replacement for our AC and heat! Our system went out a couple weeks ago and they came over quickly to check things out and get us scheduled for a replacement. The owners and staff are great. We can't recommend a them enough. They also love dogs & support local rescue-a huge plus for us! -

1 year agoThis company installed a new hvac unit. After reported floor damage which they denied they cancelled our service contract without notification. We thought our unit was getting regular maintenance. When I called to inquire Karen York was rude and disrespectful to me on the phone, a 70 year old air force female veteran. Terrible customer service. Poor communication. -

FAQ
How does York's Quality Air determine pricing for HVAC work?
We provide detailed written estimates that break down equipment costs, labor, permits, materials, and any additional services. Our estimates include specific model numbers and clearly identify what is and isn't covered so you understand the full scope before we begin. We recommend getting a thorough evaluation of your home's heating and cooling needs, which helps us give you an accurate quote tailored to your situation rather than a generic price.
Are you licensed and insured?
York's Quality Air maintains the proper licensing, bonding, and insurance coverage required to serve Indianapolis homeowners safely and professionally. We carry workers' compensation and general liability insurance to protect you in case of property damage or other issues. Our team is also EPA 608 certified for handling refrigerant, which is a nationwide requirement for any technician working with air conditioning systems.
Does York's Quality Air handle full system replacements and air filter changes?
We handle the complete range of HVAC services, from emergency repairs and full system replacements to routine maintenance and filter changes. Whether your AC and heating unit need to be replaced together or you need ongoing filter maintenance, our team has the expertise to manage it. We also inspect ductwork and airflow as part of our thorough approach to ensure your new or repaired system performs at its best.
What should you expect for scheduling and arrival times?
York's Quality Air prioritizes fast response times, especially during emergencies when your heating or cooling goes down unexpectedly. We work with you to schedule installations and maintenance appointments at times that fit your schedule. When we arrive for service, our team communicates clearly about the work ahead and how long the job typically takes so you can plan your day accordingly.
How does York's Quality Air protect your home during installation or repair work?
We take care to protect your home during all service visits by using drop cloths and taking precautions to keep work areas clean. After completing repairs or installations, we clean up debris and leave your home in good condition. Our team also walks you through how to operate your new system and explains maintenance requirements so you can get the most out of your investment.
Why is a professional load calculation important instead of doing HVAC work yourself?
A proper load calculation considers your home's specific layout, insulation levels, window types, local climate, and other factors to size equipment correctly for your needs. Undersized units work constantly without reaching comfort levels, while oversized units waste energy and fail prematurely. Professional installation with correct refrigerant charge, proper line set sizing, and verified airflow ensures your system operates safely and efficiently, protecting your investment for years to come.
