4 months agoDan is great. I called and spoke directly to him instead of an automated service. He was prompt on availability and found the issue right away. Got our heat up and running and was reasonably priced. Will definitely call again in the future if needed. -

7 years agoI was told I need about 3lbs coolant and a capacitor was failing in both and advised I replace them both. 220 a piece and 300 for coolant. They work fine now. Always get a second opinion. 800 instead of 4K or 20k to replace. I'll always use dans from now on. -

7 years agoI spoke to or got quotes from 4 different plumbers and these guys were the best. Dan's was the second one I talked to and they were the most responsive, professional, customer service oriented and ultimately the best price when you make sure you are comparing apples to apples on quotes and what's included. Dan's made it easy for me, no hassles, no surprises, everything included as promised. The work appears to be quality and well done. Thanks! -

FAQ
Does Dan's Heating & Cooling offer free estimates for HVAC repairs and installations?
We provide detailed quotes based on the specific needs of your heating or cooling system, such as coolant levels or capacitor replacements. These quotes outline parts like capacitors at around $220 each and coolant at about $300 for common jobs. Always compare multiple quotes to ensure the best value for your repair or installation.
Are you licensed and insured for HVAC work?
Dan's Heating & Cooling carries the necessary licensing, bonding, and insurance required for HVAC services in the Twin Falls area. Our team handles refrigerant safely, meeting EPA standards for any coolant-related tasks. Proof of coverage is available upon request to give you peace of mind before starting work.
Does Dan's Heating & Cooling handle furnace repairs, AC installations, and refrigerant checks?
We manage furnace repairs, AC installations, and routine tasks like checking refrigerant levels on outdoor units. Our services cover replacing failing capacitors and adding coolant to restore system performance. Ductwork assessments and installations are also part of our HVAC scope in the Twin Falls area.
What is your typical timeline for scheduling and completing HVAC services?
We respond promptly to scheduling requests and provide clear timelines from quote to completion for repairs or installations. Expect technicians to arrive within agreed windows, with most routine jobs like capacitor swaps or coolant refills done in a single visit. Follow-up calls ensure everything meets expectations after the work.
What does Dan's Heating & Cooling do with debris and waste after HVAC installations or repairs?
We remove old parts, packaging, and any debris from furnace or AC installations, leaving your utility room or outdoor area clean. Technicians use protective measures like drop cloths during ductwork or unit repairs to minimize mess. Your home is left ready for immediate use with no cleanup needed on your end.
Why is it safer to hire you for HVAC repairs instead of attempting DIY fixes?
Professional handling prevents risks like improper refrigerant charging, which requires EPA certification and specialized tools we use. DIY capacitor replacements can lead to electrical hazards or system damage without proper testing. Our approach includes full diagnostics and performance verification for long-term efficiency and safety.
