2 years agoLow budget.... then jumped the price up on me. Said they would charge $45 an hour, but jumped it up to $200/hr AFTER he had already tried(and failed)to get my vehicle out. I told him up front, it was an 8k forklift stuck in the snow. He assured me he was "rated" for that which turned out to be not true(since his rope broke right away). Then they blamed me, and accused me of lying to them about about the nature of the vehicle, and location (why would I do that?) Accused me that it was my fault for giving them bad information.. This was a subdivision in the mountains with a good road. They drove right to the spot where we were working on building a shop. Normally I don't write reviews, but for me this was pretty blatant. I was expecting to pay about $500, and that they would get the vehicle unstuck, as he assured me he could. He didn't get the machine out. (I later did that myself) ... but still wanted to charge me $1682 dollars! When I said "hey that's not fair! To raise the price on me" he said he would call the police, and I would be arrested with a felony (since it's more than $1000). I said you're hitting me both ways on this one. You didn't get the vehicle out, and you more than tripled the price on me. I assume these guys are fine in most circumstances, but I felt they were pretty inexperienced (the owner didn't actually come out).... The lack of care and service, was pretty glaring for me. Especially the threatening of being arrested and "charged with a felony" if I didn't pay his inflated price..... to me was just low budget, and pretty crude. It's a one star for me..... They promised they could handle it, and then got abusive and punitive when they could not. I literally went and dug the thing out by hand a few days later. They couldn't care less -
