2 months agoVery disgusted with their services. We as customers are paying for services and should have the choice of crediting our accounts if they do not provide the service. Yet their employee/Maria can lie stating "only the city can give credit and states right here they picked it up yesterday at 1:10." (Which was Sunday) We all know they don't work on Sundays.) Oh, to boot, I stated, "I have a video cameras outside our home pointing straight at the road." I call back after speaking to the city, once again I get Maria. Ask for a supervisor was on hold 25 mins before supervisor answers. They want to pick up tomorrow which is 2 days before my next pick up. I order 2 trash bins for a reason and they can't do their job which I pay for their services. I can understand if my trash bin was not before the truck came, it was. This is ridiculous. Also stating trash bins are to be out by 6 a.m. Something needs to be done about this company. I will be submitting a complaint to the city, better business bureau, mayor, as well. I feel we as a community, we should stand up for our selves as we have to pay the outragous prices. They should be held accountable for their services not rendered. -

2 months agoWhat a Dump! but in a good way. I like republic as an outfit in general but this locationjin meridian has recently changed to charging by weight instead of by the yard. it's a bit cheaper for sure and the crew is pretty dam competent. pleasant change from a year or two back when I left a scathing review after I got some extremely substandard service. this is an updated review as of Jan 2026, and you can trust this review cuz I was red hot smokin pissed the last time I left there but somebody higher up in the company must have seen the same problems and they got this place turned in the right direction. so ... 3 months agoI'm new to Meridian and still getting settled, so I reached out for information about bulk pickup and local dump options. The representative, whose name I did not catch, assisted me with incredible kindness and provided outstanding customer service. She answered all of my questions with patience and offered several helpful resources to make it easy for me to dispose of my garbage and empty boxes. I truly appreciate her time, support, and professionalism. Thank you for such a welcoming experience!

FAQ
How does Benjamin's Rural Disposal determine pricing for junk removal and bulk pickups?
Pricing for services like residential trash collection, commercial dumpsters, and bulk pickups is based on volume or weight, such as charges per cubic yard or per pound for general trash. Customers can expect rates that reflect the load size, with options for weekly refuse, yard waste additions, and recycling through our transfer station. Contact us for a quote tailored to your specific needs, as factors like material type can influence the final cost.
Are you licensed and insured for junk removal services?
Benjamin's Rural Disposal operates a licensed transfer station in Meridian, ID, handling residential and commercial waste collection safely and in compliance with local regulations. Our team manages trash, bulk pickups, and recycling with proper equipment like green commercial dumpsters. Homeowners can trust our established operations at 2130 W Franklin Rd for secure waste management.
Does Benjamin's Rural Disposal handle yard waste and recycling as part of junk removal?
We manage yard waste additions alongside weekly refuse and bulk pickups for both residential and commercial customers. Our transfer station processes recyclable materials, including cardboard and large bales, ensuring proper sorting and disposal. This covers common junk removal needs like general trash and debris from properties in Meridian.
What are your hours and scheduling expectations for pickups?
We are available weekdays until 6 PM and Saturdays until 2 PM for scheduling trash collection, bulk pickups, and junk removal services. Customers can arrange weekly refuse or one-time services during these hours, with our team providing assistance for additions like yard waste. Plan ahead by calling to fit your needs within our operating windows.
What happens to the waste after Benjamin's Rural Disposal picks it up?
We transport collected trash, bulk items, and recyclables to our transfer station for sorting and processing. Recyclable materials like cardboard are handled on-site, with workers managing operations to separate waste efficiently. This ensures debris is directed to appropriate disposal channels rather than immediate landfill use.
Why is hiring you for junk removal safer and better than doing it yourself?
Our professional team uses specialized equipment and a transfer station to manage heavy loads, recycling, and bulk waste without risking personal injury or vehicle damage common in DIY trips to dumps. We follow weight-based systems and vehicle inspections for safe handling, avoiding issues like unexpected high costs at landfills. Homeowners benefit from our structured pickups that keep areas clean without the hassle of multiple self-haul trips.
