4 months agoI am fairly new to Coeur d'Alene moving up here to assist my older brother with some medical challenges. We were in search for some new carpet and wood flooring. We were directed by friends to Chuck at Carpet Warehouse. What a fantastic experience of picking out product from an extensive inventory and then Chuck coming to the house the very next day to measure and prepare a bid. Great customer service. Once purchased Chuck scheduled our installation a week later. Torry and Joe showed up early on 10/22 and began the installation. Both seasoned installers with years of experience and knocked out the entire project in 1 day. The finished is beautiful and my brother could not be happier with the quality of the finished work. Finally, the devil is in the details. Torry and Joe replaced all the furniture and did an immaculate job of clean up of old carpet, and sawdust from the flooring cuts. Well done! 5 months agoTalked with Alan. Was looking to get carpet and hardwood flooring repaired. Alan actually talked me out of thousands of dollars of hardwood flooring and explained to me how to economically self repair it. He turned down multi thousands to tell me how to fix it for hundreds. Local, honest, straight shooter. I will Always choose carpet warehouse. He saved me money at his expense.!!! -

11 months agoYep, they're great - until you have a problem. We had new LVT floors installed, but the slats separated and started curling. The ensuing games that this company played with us were exhaustive. They came to "re-measure" three times (even though those numbers were on our original order). They sent the installer (who looked like he hadn't showered or worn clean clothes in several days) to verify that there was no issue with his install. His opinion was that the product was defective. We were told numerous times they would take care of it. So we selected a replacement material, arranged for installation, and were presented an invoice for MORE than the original install. After several months of this runaround, we finally gave up on this company and took our business elsewhere. I might add that we are also in the group of elderly clients that this company seems to have a history of preying upon. There will be no recompense for us, but hopefully, we can save someone else from a costly mistake of doing business with them.
