3 years agoWe've had many a contractor come to our house, but Ruben is the first one ever to not cause my dogs to ruckus when he entered the property, or even when we went to look at the trees I needed removed. His quiet, gentle, calm is so perfect for someone who works with trees. We had already gotten two quotes, including one from a friend, to remove a tree that was impeding our roof. Ruben had left a paper in our mailbox saying he'd be working in the neighborhood soon, so I called him. He came that same day! He was quick, polite, and uses a very organized quoting system. After seeing all the great reviews from my neighbors on Yelp I felt one hundred percent certain I wanted to go with Island Trees. His crew felled 2 trees for a good price and they were so quiet I didn't even know they were there. Amazing. They were trees taller than a two story roof. I am not sure if I pointed out the wrong tree to him or not, but one of the trees was not the one we needed down. I emailed him. Ruben came out the next day, took a look, and graciously took down the tree we wanted down when he came to our neighbors house the next week. So quietly capable and so much aloha. His team is well organized, has all the proper equipment, and a five star review from me. I will definitely be using Island Trees for all my tree needs for years to come. -
