3 months agoCalled for someone to inspect our home for wildlife intrusion. Paid $289 that same day for the inspection/estimate. Salesman came out a few days later (Friday) and gave me an estimate for $1150. I asked him to call me the following week and I'd let him know if I wanted the work completed. Later that same day, I noticed the entire $1150 was charged to my credit card. I reached out to the salesman and he said to call the office the following Monday. The website showed Saturday hours beginning at 8am. I called and left a detailed voice mail. I didn't hear from anyone Monday morning so I called again. Could not reach a live person. As of this writing I have not heard back from the salesman or the company. UPDATE: They reversed the charges this morning. -

FAQ
How does Smart Solutions Wildlife Removal Specialists determine pricing for wildlife removal services?
We conduct a thorough inspection of your property first to identify entry points, damage, and the extent of the wildlife issue, which allows us to provide a detailed estimate. For example, an initial inspection may cost around $289, with exclusion work for areas like crawlspaces, attics, and roof lines quoted based on the specific needs, such as $1150 in one case. This approach ensures the price reflects the customized work required to fully resolve the problem and prevent future intrusions.
Are you licensed and insured for wildlife removal?
Smart Solutions Wildlife Removal Specialists is fully licensed and insured for wildlife control work in Georgia. Our team carries the necessary credentials to handle nuisance wildlife safely and legally, including general liability and workers' compensation coverage. Homeowners can request to see our documentation during the initial contact to verify our qualifications.
Does Smart Solutions Wildlife Removal Specialists handle squirrel, rat, and bat removal along with exclusions for attics and crawlspaces?
We specialize in thorough inspections and exclusions for crawlspaces, attics, and roof lines to address squirrel and rat issues that other services often overlook. Our process includes setting live traps, installing fascia covers, and using exclusion devices in gutters and roof areas to secure properties against bats and other wildlife. This comprehensive scope covers the specific intrusions shown in damage to rooflines, gutters, and entry points.
What is the typical timeline and scheduling process for your wildlife control services?
Smart Solutions Wildlife Removal Specialists schedules inspections same-day when possible, with estimates provided shortly after, often within a few days. We accommodate last-minute appointments, especially for urgent rat issues or before travel and bad weather, to fit homeowners' needs. Arrival windows are confirmed in advance, and our team prioritizes quick response times for real results.
How does Smart Solutions Wildlife Removal Specialists handle cleanup and after-care following wildlife removal?
We remove wildlife using live traps and exclusion methods, then clean up debris, sanitize affected areas, and ensure your property is left secure without waste or hazards. After exclusions on roof lines, attics, and crawlspaces, we repair entry points like fascia covers to prevent re-entry. This leaves your home protected and hygienic, addressing any damage from intrusions such as chewed gutters or rooflines.
Why is your professional wildlife removal approach better and safer than attempting DIY methods?
Our detailed inspections identify hidden squirrel and rat entry points in crawlspaces, attics, and roof lines that DIY efforts miss, leading to repeated intrusions. Professionals use humane live traps and durable exclusions, like fascia covers and gutter devices, which withstand wildlife persistence unlike temporary fixes. Hiring experts avoids risks of injury from handling animals, ladders, or roofs, and ensures legal compliance with relocation and humane standards.
