6 months agoI recently had a leak coming from my HVAC unit. It is a very old unit but it still runs. I have a home warranty mainly for that reason. I filed a request with HSA and they matched me up with Jackson Mechanical. They sent a technician named Cassidy out and he was awesome. He came out and diagnosed what he thought was the issue and fixed it quickly. Later on I noticed it was still leaking and contacted them. He ended up coming back out the next day to re-evaluate and work on the unit, all on his own time. We finally figured out that it was actually not an HVAC issue at all, but a plumbing issue. Even though he could not fix it himself due to it being a plumbing issue, he was able to get the service transferred for me immediately to a plumbing company. This saved me time and another request fee as well. I have seen others may have not have had the best experience, but i can whole-heartedly endorse Cassidy from Jackson Mechanical if you need a technician who is knowledgeable and truly cares. Thanks again! -

7 months agoI had a very poor experience with Jackson Mechanical. A technician came to service my HVAC system and left it in worse condition than before. After the visit, my system was non-functional and required further repair by another company to get it working again. Attempts to resolve the issue through their process and customer support went nowhere. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend their services. 8 months agoWhatever he did (and by he I mean the owner), it didn't work. Five days later, our upstairs unit is blowing hot air again. To make things worse, when we called HSA home warranty to have him come back out to fix whatever he didn't fix the first time, he cancelled the appointment. According to the home warranty company, he told them we needed to contact the first company that came out before he came out. The first company didn't do anything...that's why we called the warranty company to have someone else come out. -

12 months agoTerrible company. Technician came to my house for a second opinion and rung the doorbell and said I don't have to look at the furnace or check your ac because it looks like an older unit. He said with AHS the diagnosis is all about the wording and I'll take care of you. It looks like wear and tear. I have the full recording of him saying that he doesn't need to diagnose or anything. He then sent and told AHS that my unit wasn't working due to urine???? AHS coaches these companies to deny claims. He was only at my front door for 3 mins before leaving. The company has since not returned any of my calls after they got their service fee. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR AMERICAN HOME SHIELD. -

Jackson Mechanical Heating & Cooling carries the necessary licensing and insurance to handle HVAC installations, repairs, plumbing tasks, and junk removal safely.
