11 years agoI was very nervous , as I have never build a home before. Mike was very hands on and made me feel very comfortable. He handled every thing from drawings to permits even recommended a lender that worked out great.. We interviewed several other builders, and my feeling was they were just the sales person. I did not feel that way with Mike. And that turned out to be true, he was hands on from start to finish. -

11 years agoWe sold our house and was in a situation that we were living in a camper till the new house was finished. I have 2 kids and a dog so time was of the essence. We hired Mike to build our house and he and his subs were very professional and prompt. Mike had many house plans to choose from so we did choose something he designed. We had him make modifications to suit our needs. Before we even signed the contract he was able to set up some time for us to visit a few of the floorplans he built. Mike lives in Tampa and we live in Orlando and he was over here many times to check on the work. Since I wanted the house completed quickly I called Mike several times a week to check on the progress. He always answered my calls and if he was not available and I had to leave a voice mail he returned the calls promptly. This was the 2nd house my husband and I built. Our first experience was not good so my husband was very hesitant to do it again. Mike changed that with his professionalism. If we ever decided to build a house again we would definitely hire Mike. He does very well with warrenty. Even a year later I have had some cracks on the drywall on the ceiling. I just let Mike know and he is more then happy to help us fix them. He stands behind all his work and he takes a lot of pride in the houses he builds. Mike is also a great person overall. My daughter Allison shows animals for FFA. Mike sponsored her this year with her project. If you are looking for a great reliable builder Cogdill Builders is the best. Thank you Mike for all the things you have done for us. We love our house!!!!
