1 year agoThe Doctor of Roof Repair. An amazing experience. I am a 67 year old retired analyst who moved to Florida from the midwest 4 years ago. Roof repair in general, can be an absolutely exasperating experience. Unfortunately, to add to the issue, the state of Florida is filled with many inexperienced, incompetent, and unethical contractors. Having contracted more than 20 personal home construction projects, I was very stunned as to the extent of dishonesty in the Florida construction industry. Upon moving here, I did three remodeling projects that required a contractor. Not one project was without some type of serious contractor negative controversy. Even my current neighbors complain about crooked or incompetent contractors in Florida from time to time. Before selecting Dreamland roofers for this project, I had 5 previous estimates for a bad roof leak in my personal home. The estimates for the repairs from other contractors were all ridiculously high.. I started to think that a reasonably priced repair was not possible and definately not in my future. Then entered Dreamland Roofers. I met with the owner Mr. Fernando, and I was immediately struck by the level of honesty, integrity, and outright knowledge of what needed to be done. Unbelievably, out of all the previous contractors I had met with for my leaky roof, Mr. Fernando was the only one who conducted a thorough visual inspection of the entire interior of both attics to check for leaks and or damage. He is a true investigator. After the interior inspection, he then proceeded to meticulously inspect the outer roof. Subsequently, Mr. Fernando astutely identified the central problem and source of the leak. Then to my great surprise, came the shockingly low estimate for the job. I immediately accepted the more than reasonable offer. Throughout the repair process, I was kept up to date with pictures and phone calls as to what was being done. At one point, I went to view the actual water rotted large hole in the roof that was causing the leak and damage. I marveled at the professional and beautiful level of work that was done. He also fixed a few other cosmetic issues that he spotted on the roof and promptly repaired them for me. Quite frankly, I honestly cannot remember the last time I had such a great experience with a contractor. Mr. Fernando's demeanor is like an old soul country doctor who really cares about his patients, with his expression of integrity, honesty, and customer satisfaction. His knowledge of roof issues is impressive to say the least. He answers all questions with great patience and communicates in an easy to understand reasuring confident way. After the project was completed, the work area was left cleaner than what it was when the work started!. In conclusion, I am beyond grateful to Mr. Fernando and his very skilled workers for turning this stressful situation into a terrific outcome that did not break the bank and cost me a fortune to resolve. I don't say the following lightly... Needless to say, his company's phone number is now cemented into my contact list and I have absolutely no problems whatsoever, recommending Dreamland Roofers without hesitation. 5 stars and a round of applause! -
