4 months agoFor almost ten years I have done business with River's Pest control. Always happy with the service! Now I do not feel this way. My house has the symptoms of the return of the subterranean termites. I called the office and I was told they need pictures of the problems. Well I have no way of having to provide pictures of the mud tubes. All I needed was for a technician to check out the problem. I was told the scheduling person was not in and will return my call. This did not happen. I called the next day and was told the same thing. I still have not received the call. If I have to call on day number three I will no longer do business with them. They need competent office people! -

6 months agoThe horror of tenting for termites was fast and easy and made a breeze. It went from being an experience I was dreading to a completely positive experience. Very professional and went above and beyond with service. Highly recommended! -

6 months agoWe purchased a four unit apartment building last year and after closing we discovered active termites in several of the units. I had called Rivers to have them come check since the building had an active termite bond on the building with them. They informed me the bond was up for renewal and billed me the $665 for the next year. I have had them out about 4 times this last year and have discovered active termites in the floors and windows of the building. They have spot treated but have refused to tent to address the issue. My renewal came up again this year and I called to discuss my concerns with renewing if they were not going to do the required work expected. The receptionist was rude and appeared to care less about my concerns. Not a company I would recommend or do business with in the future

FAQ
Does Rivers Pest Control Service, Inc. offer free estimates for pest control services?
We provide termite inspections and custom quotes based on the property size and pest issues identified during the initial visit. Pricing depends on factors like the extent of infestation and treatment type needed, such as fumigation for subterranean termites. Contact us to schedule an inspection where we assess your situation and explain the costs upfront.
Are you licensed and insured for wildlife and pest control work?
Rivers Pest Control Service, Inc. operates as a family-owned business with the expertise required for termite inspections and fumigation treatments in Jacksonville. Our team carries the necessary licensing and insurance to handle these services safely on homes and businesses. Homeowners can request verification during the initial consultation to confirm compliance.
Does Rivers Pest Control Service, Inc. handle termite fumigation and tenting for buildings?
We specialize in termite treatments including full building tenting and fumigation for residential houses and multi-unit apartments. Our process covers active subterranean termite infestations discovered after property purchases or recurring issues. Technicians position tents securely and apply specialized treatments to protect the structure.
What is your typical timeline and arrival window for pest control services?
We schedule services based on your availability and the scope of work, such as termite tenting which requires preparation and several days for the process. Technicians arrive within agreed windows to inspect, set up equipment like tents, and complete treatments efficiently. Expect clear communication on timelines to minimize disruptions to your routine.
What should I expect for cleanup and after-care after Rivers Pest Control Service, Inc. services?
After fumigation or termite treatments, we remove all tents, equipment, and debris from the property, leaving your home or building clean and ready for re-entry. Our family-owned approach includes walking you through post-treatment steps to monitor for any activity and maintain protection. Follow our guidelines on ventilation and safety to ensure effective results.
Why is your professional pest control approach better and safer than DIY methods?
Professional treatments like tenting for termites target the colony comprehensively, unlike DIY sprays that only address visible pests and miss hidden infestations. We use industry-approved methods and products applied precisely to avoid health risks from improper chemical handling. This thorough process prevents structural damage and recurring issues that DIY often fails to resolve.
