1 year agoThe prices and skills of electricians in FL is all over the board. Positricity was recommended on the Nextdoor app. I have paid service fees from $69 to $179; upfront to even have an electrician come out to my house. The communication of when the electrician would show up was great. I received information as to his exact timing. Derek W showed up to my house reviewed the items that I needed to have done and provided me with a quote. It was a Friday afternoon, and I never sensed once that he was rushed or that he didn't want to be here and he proceeded to take care of the items that needed to be addressed. I had a unique situation of two main breakers at different amps, which he found the answer and resolved. Additionally, I had 2 plug-in play smoke detectors, which I had already purchased installed and some unprotected wiring to be corrected to code. I always like to know costs and it was $88 for each smoke detector to be replaced and my total bill was a little under $700 without the service charge. It was a positive experience getting electrical violations corrected for my 4-point inspection. I have also had John and Tim as electricians w the same positive work attitude, competence and end results. Thank you -

1 year agoI again used Positricity in April of 2024 since I was so pleased the first time (that review is down below this one from 2022). They sent out Jeremy who was great to deal with. He did a super job, was timely and communicated well. He answered all my questions and explained clearly what he was doing and why. I'm just real pleased I found a really good Electrical Contracting company to take care of my home. Here is my first (2022 review): These guys were super. When I called I was immediately connected to a live person who communicated well and understood my electrical needs. They asked good questions to make sure we were a match. Got next day appointment with specific two hour window. On time next day "Will/William" arrived on time. Inspected my panel and needs and wrote me up two quotes for me to pick from. He explained well. He knew his stuff and the price was very good compared to the other two companies. He answered all my questions and immediately did the job (which was quite involved and took about three hours). His work looked good, he tested all connections and cleaned up very well. I don't think you could find a better electrical company than these guys. I am totally pleased with them. -
