1 month agoWow.. Just trying to get a quote and was shut down, through text. Instead of informing me that I may need to update my fireplace/chimney system, whoever was texting me got rude and said they will have nothing to do with it. Several messages later they told me it was because I cannot run the exhaust pipe from the wood stove thru the existing chimney. Though there are adapter fittings sold for just that. No need to have been rude guy. Try being more informative instead. -

2 months agoMike arrived, inspected the chimney and said we've been doing a good job of maintaining it and that it didn't need to be cleaned. He came all the way from Tallahassee, FL to Monticello, FL, and did not charge me a dime. His integrity and building a solid customer base holds more value than money. In the end he will get both. I highly recommend Southern Chimney. By the way did use him about four years ago when they were EZY-Chimney and he did a great job. Their price has not gone up that much at all since then. Quality and honesty. -
