6 months agoI had a great experience with ServPro even though the reason that they came out was not great for me. (I had a water supply line break which soaked carpeting in several rooms.) The ServPro team was prompt and professional. They had the right equipment to determine how far the water damage extended and to determine when the drying process was complete. They knew exactly what needed to be done from the removal of damaged carpet to collecting carpet/padding samples for the insurance company to assess the replacement costs. I was very happy with them and would definitely contact them again if needed. -

7 months agoServPro came out quickly when I needed help, and I was very impressed with their service. Sean was professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything in a way I could understand, carefully reviewed the damp area, and gave me clear recommendations. He was reassuring, kind, and made sure I knew my family was safe, which gave me peace of mind. Sean even shared helpful tips on working with my homeowner's insurance, which I really appreciated. The estimate provided was very reasonable-not at all outrageous-which made me feel comfortable moving forward. At this point only the initial inspection was completed since plumbing repairs need to happen first, but I'm very happy with the service I've received so far and would definitely recommend them. -

FAQ
How does SERVPRO of Brandywine/Wilmington determine pricing for water damage restoration?
We assess the extent of water damage, including affected areas like carpets, walls, and ceilings, to provide a detailed estimate based on the scope of extraction, drying, and cleaning needed. Factors such as the type of water involved and any additional services like board-ups or post-construction cleanup influence the final cost. Homeowners receive a clear breakdown upfront to understand all components involved.
Are you licensed and insured for water damage and cleaning services?
SERVPRO of Brandywine/Wilmington carries full licensing and insurance required for water damage restoration, fire damage services, and commercial cleaning in the Wilmington area. Our family-operated team has provided these services since 1990, ensuring compliance with local standards for safe and effective restoration work. This coverage protects both our technicians and your property during emergency responses.
Does SERVPRO of Brandywine/Wilmington handle carpet cleaning and water extraction from floods?
We specialize in water extraction from carpets and hard floors using professional equipment, as shown in our job site photos of teams removing water from living rooms and auditoriums. Our services extend to upholstery restoration, duct cleaning, and ceiling or wall cleaning after incidents like leaks or spills. This comprehensive approach addresses both immediate removal and thorough drying to prevent further issues like mold.
What is your typical response time and arrival window for emergencies?
We respond around the clock with 24/7 emergency services, arriving quickly to job sites as noted in customer experiences with prompt cleanups for basement leaks and spills. Expect our team to provide a realistic arrival window upon contact, often within hours for urgent water damage situations. We coordinate scheduling to minimize disruption while prioritizing fast action to limit damage spread.
How does SERVPRO of Brandywine/Wilmington handle cleanup and debris removal after a job?
We remove all waste, debris, and contaminated materials generated during water extraction, drying, and restoration processes. Our team leaves the site clean, moving furniture back carefully without damage, and performs final checks on hard floors, carpets, and upholstery. This ensures your home is safe and tidy once drying equipment is packed up and hauled away.
Why is hiring you for water damage better than attempting a DIY fix?
Professional equipment like air movers and extractors thoroughly removes hidden moisture that DIY methods like towels or fans often miss, reducing risks of mold growth or structural weakening. Our trained technicians follow industry-standard drying protocols to restore areas faster and safer than home attempts, avoiding health hazards from contaminated water. This approach prevents costly secondary damage, as seen in our handling of spills and broken lines without messing up belongings.
