4 months agoYou came out to quote a job. You criticized work that others had recently done. Others who had done a very nice job with zero arrogance unlike what you brought to my house. Your attitude was undesirable, unfriendly and it seems you were not terribly interested in doing a smaller job at all. That is no problem, after quoting with others it is apparent you don't know what you are talking about anyway. I was going to keep these comments to myself but unfortunately you seem to not like any bad review and criticize those that give you one and that should have been my first clue to not call you for a quote in the first place but I gave you a chance. Glad all of that is working for you. Have a nice day. -

9 months agoCathy and her crew at Bartlett Brainard Products have once again proven why they are the premier home remodelers in West Hartford. Our 30 year old deck had seen better days and with Cathy's input we came up with an improved design that would require minimal maintenance, better function, and look great. The crew removed the old deck, built the new substructure which was inspected by the town building inspector and deemed to be "wow, this is really sturdy". Using Wolf composite decking and black aluminum railings they constructed a gorgeous deck, despite the less than ideal weather conditions, that exceeded our expectations. The crew were a pleasure to work with, pleasant and courteous. The new deck was a tremendous hit this past Father's Day with our family who joined us for a bbq. -

Cathy showed me different options on her iPad and helped me decide on the perfect front door. The installation was completed in one day and the crew was professional and neat. The quality of work and craftsmanship of the crew was outstanding. The installers were so meticulous with every detail especially the outside trim work. I highly recommend Bartlett Brainard and would definately call upon them again for my next home improvement project.
