3 months agoWe had a large fire at our house three years ago. The Maguire Co. tended to everything. They rebuilt my home better than new and never complained about anything. Three years later we had a small problem. I called Jamie on a Saturday evening and his crew showed up first thing Monday morning. (7:30 AM). They knew exactly what to do and my problem was solved in 4 days. (At no charge). Apparently, my fire restoration job came with a 10 year warranty. Thank you so much JP Maguire Co. You absolutely made my gigantic problem go away. I highly reccomend this company as the Owner is totally hands on. Litchfield Ct. -

6 months agoWe can't say enough about our experience with JP Maguire after our house fire in August of 2023. From the very first day we were treated with kindness and respect. As you can imagine the trauma we were going through was significant. The team walked us through every step from the day of the fire until the completion of our restoration. I still think of the slogan " just make it all go way " which is exactly how we felt! They were thoughtful and patient as we had many difficult decisions to make throughout our restoration. We lost a lot and that was clearly understood by the team . They listened to every question and concern we had and their responses were quick and productive. There will always be chocolate chip cookies here for each of you! -

7 months agoTried on numerous occasions to get a call back from this company to no avail. They called me to set up an appointment, I immediately called back and left a message. Did this for four days in a row. Never received a call back. They will not hear from me again. -

1 year agoWe had a house fire last year. The night of the fire, JP Maguire was on the scene within 30 minutes. Once the fire was out, Ty and his crew boarded up and secured our home. Within 2 days after the fire, Shelby began the process of seeing to the personal property within our house. She is an amazing person who is an asset to JP Maguire and we appreciate the special care she gave to the items that they were able to save. Ky walked us through the process of rebuilding our home and gave us some wonderful suggestions. He also helped us with the insurance part of the project and helped us communicate with the insurance company.When it looked like the reconstruction might go longer than anticipated, Jamie Maguire himself took over the project and rebuilt our new home beyond our expectations. And a special thanks to April for crossing all the t's and dotting all the i's so that all the figures balanced and all the legalities of the claim went smoothly. We are extremely happy with our new home. -

3 years agoAs mentioned in another review the mitigation manager Ty is extremely rude. I was looking to get the inside of a toilet cleaned mainly and a few floor tiles and to throw out a rug. He gave me an estimate for over $3000. This included an estimated 10 hours of work. It also included a bunch of charges we never discussed such as other parts of the bathroom and "miscellaneous" charges throughout. When I said I couldn't pay $3000 to clean a toilet and asked to cancel he became incredibly sarcastic and rude. I am trying to get my mom's house in order when she comes home from the hospital so she can spend her last year in life in a peaceful environment, which he knew, and he still chose to be incredibly rude. Complete lack of compassion or empathy. HIGHLY RECOMMEND AGAINST.
