3 years agoWe had BTU install our walk-in cooler and other equipment a couple of years ago and needed some service work done and they came right out the same day. I would highly recommend them! -

Phil M.
17 years agoThe worst subcontractor I've worked with in 30+ years of building. I would call 3-4 days in a row, both cell & office, and get no response. Finally a worker would show up, work a day and disappear. The same thing would happen week after week for 3 months. Talk about frustrating! I severed my relationship with this company with less than 1/2 the job done.

FAQ
How does BTU Systems determine pricing for HVAC installations and repairs?
We assess pricing based on the scope of the project, including equipment needs, labor required, and any specific site conditions like walk-in cooler setups. Custom quotes detail materials, labor, and timelines to ensure transparency before work begins. This approach helps homeowners understand costs upfront and avoid surprises.
Are you licensed, bonded, and insured for HVAC work?
BTU Systems carries all necessary licensing, bonding, and insurance to meet local requirements in Stamford, CT, including coverage for property damage and worker safety. Our team follows industry standards for handling refrigerants and installations. Homeowners can request proof of these credentials prior to starting any job.
Does BTU Systems handle walk-in cooler installations and industrial HVAC units?
We specialize in HVAC installations such as walk-in coolers and service both residential and commercial units, including outdoor AC systems. Our technicians use tools like multimeters and gauges to diagnose and maintain these specialized setups efficiently. This covers heating, cooling, repairs, and maintenance projects in the Stamford area.
What should I expect for scheduling and arrival times with you?
We provide same-day service for urgent needs and schedule arrivals within defined windows, with our crew showing up on time equipped with the right tools. Expect clear communication on timelines from quote to completion, accounting for any permitting if required. This ensures minimal disruption to your day.
What does BTU Systems do about cleanup and debris after HVAC service?
We remove all waste and debris from repairs, maintenance, or installations, leaving your property clean and organized. Technicians use protective measures like drop cloths during work to prevent mess. This standard practice keeps your space safe and ready for immediate use.
Why is hiring you for HVAC work safer and better than attempting DIY repairs?
Our professional approach uses proper tools and techniques to handle complex systems like heating units and coolers, avoiding risks such as electrical hazards or refrigerant leaks that DIY efforts often cause. We perform thorough diagnostics to ensure long-term efficiency and safety, which homeowners can't replicate without training. This prevents costly damage and ensures compliance with local codes.
