FAQ
How does Maids of Hartford determine pricing, and do you offer free estimates?
We provide free project estimates to give you an accurate quote based on your home's size, cleaning scope, and service type. Pricing varies depending on whether you need recurring weekly cleanings, a one-time deep clean, move-in/move-out service, or specialty work like carpet or window cleaning. Contact us through our website or phone to schedule a consultation, and we'll walk you through costs with no obligation.
Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Maids of Hartford operates as a professional cleaning service and maintains the credentials necessary to serve Hartford County homeowners with confidence. We bring all our own supplies and follow detailed cleaning checklists to ensure consistent, safe results in your home. For specific details about our licensing and insurance coverage, reach out directly through our website or call us.
What specific cleaning services does Maids of Hartford handle beyond standard house cleaning?
We handle house cleaning, carpet cleaning, window cleaning, and commercial cleaning services. Beyond weekly recurring cleanings, we specialize in deep cleans that target baseboards, corners, and hard-to-reach spots most people miss, plus move-in/move-out turnover services and Airbnb property cleanups. If you have a specific cleaning challenge-like a grimy stovetop or post-construction debris-let us know during your consultation, and we'll confirm whether it's included or available as an add-on service.
What should I expect in terms of scheduling and arrival time?
Maids of Hartford operates within a one-hour arrival window to account for traffic and ensure we have sufficient time to deliver quality work. We're open Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 8 PM, Saturday 7 AM to 8 PM, and Sunday 9 AM to 6 PM. All services must be scheduled in advance through our website or phone, and you'll be notified of any unexpected delays.
How does Maids of Hartford leave my home after cleaning-what about debris and cleanup?
We follow a detailed checklist to ensure your home is left genuinely refreshed, not just surface-clean. Our team brings all supplies and handles the complete cleanup process, including removal of debris and waste from the cleaning itself. You can expect your home to be spotless and ready to enjoy, with no mess left behind from our work.
Why is professional cleaning better than doing it yourself?
Professional cleaners have the training, equipment, and time to reach areas you might miss-baseboards, corners, ceiling fans, and inside appliances-plus the knowledge of which products and techniques work best for different surfaces without causing damage. We've been serving Hartford County since 2014, so we understand local water quality, common cleaning challenges in older and newer homes, and how to tackle stubborn grime efficiently. What takes you hours on a weekend, we handle thoroughly in a fraction of the time, freeing you up for what matters most.
