2 years agoChris is absolutely terrible to work with Because of his actions I will never sign a contract ever again for contractors to do work on my property. Long story short... he came into my property and completely destroyed my house trying to gouge my insurance company. Ruined my cabinets, burnt my carpet in the living room with convection heater that didn't even have damage until he damaged it. Had felons working in my house that just got released from prison for felony theft. Ruined my counter tops... and when he started to rebuild my kitchen and east wall the craftsmanship was absolutely terrible! He then tried to sue us saying we owed him money for the terrible craftsman ship...ended up costing me a bunch of lawyer fees in the end and this guy get to continue his wrath of terrible work. I would stay so far away from this company unless you like dealing with terrible people. I will be writing reviews on every website available to warn people of this guys terrible business practices. -

2 years agoChris and team jumped in on Christmas Eve to help fix a broken line that had flooded our school. His quick response and expertise saved us thousands in damage and allowed us to reopen the school on time after break. I can't imagine what would have happened without them! Highly recommended. -

2 years agoDo not use these guys. Went 0/3 on meeting deadlines/appointments he set for himself. He slept through the last appointment we made with him and we wasted our Saturday waiting for him. We had to move on to using someone else and lost two days trying to get these guys to do their jobs. -

FAQ
How does Absolute Water Mitigation & Restoration determine pricing for water damage restoration?
We assess the extent of water damage using advanced moisture meters to measure affected areas like soaked carpets, walls, and floors. Pricing depends on factors such as the size of the damaged space, type of water intrusion from floods, leaks, or burst pipes, and required drying and restoration steps. Homeowners receive a detailed estimate after our initial on-site evaluation to ensure transparency.
Are you licensed and insured for water damage work?
Absolute Water Mitigation & Restoration carries liability insurance to protect properties during service. We advise verifying our contractor's license and permit requirements by contacting the local building division, along with checking our reputation through the Better Business Bureau. This step helps confirm compliance before starting any project.
Does Absolute Water Mitigation & Restoration handle drying soaked carpets and floors from water line breaks?
We specialize in drying out soaked carpets, walls, and floors caused by water line breaks, hot water heaters, floods, or leaks. Our team uses specialized drying equipment including air movers and hoses to remove moisture thoroughly from hardwood, carpeted, and commercial spaces. This prevents further issues like mold growth in Northern Colorado properties.
What is your typical response time and arrival window for emergencies?
Absolute Water Mitigation & Restoration provides 24/7 emergency response for water damage, arriving quickly to assess and start mitigation. Expect our team to respond immediately upon contact, especially for urgent cases like burst pipes or floods discovered after hours. We coordinate scheduling based on the severity to minimize damage progression.
How does Absolute Water Mitigation & Restoration handle cleanup and debris after water removal?
We remove standing water and extract moisture from affected areas using pumps and high-powered tools before setting up dehumidifiers and air movers. Debris from damaged materials is cleared away, and surfaces are cleaned to eliminate contaminants and odors. Your property is left dry and sanitized, ready for any necessary repairs.
Why is your professional water damage restoration method safer than attempting DIY?
Our approach uses advanced tools like moisture meters to detect hidden water in walls and floors that mopping cannot reach, preventing mold and structural damage. Professionals apply proper drying with air movers and dehumidifiers, followed by sanitizing, which DIY efforts often miss and can worsen issues. This ensures complete restoration without health risks from contaminated water or electrical hazards.
