9 years agoLawn Service Threatened to have one employee removed by the Sheriffs office if he showed back up on my property. The only decent employee quit because he did not want to be associated with the work being done. Its been three years now and I had to have one of the A rated companies on Angie's list come out and replace and repair what The Groudskeeper did. Just horrible. -

11 years agoThe absolute ores, unprofessional people that I have ever worked with. I even called the owner (Jeff Hendricks I believe) and he said that he would set up an appointment to meet with Rich and myself. NEVER HAPPENED! I have asked for a refund, I paid $2,200.00 and am far worse off than when they started! I'm still waiting for my refund. The Better Bureau will be hearing from me! I don't want this to happen to anyone else that is going through such grief. Jeff, I would love to hear from you!

FAQ
How does The Groundskeeper Inc. determine pricing for snow removal services?
We assess pricing based on property size, snow accumulation depth, accessibility, and required equipment like plows or skid steers. Custom quotes account for plowing, hand shoveling, ice treatment, trucking, or heavy machinery use. Free estimates are provided after an initial site evaluation to ensure transparency on all costs.
Are you licensed and insured for snow removal work?
The Groundskeeper Inc. maintains general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage to protect properties during snow removal operations. We carry proof of insurance available upon request for homeowner review. This setup safeguards against potential damages from equipment like skid steers or front-end loaders.
Does The Groundskeeper Inc. handle plowing, shoveling, and ice treatment for snow removal?
We provide comprehensive snow removal including plowing with trucks and skid steers, hand shoveling for tight areas, and ice treatment to prevent slips. Our services extend to trucking excess snow and using heavy equipment for large-scale clearing in Fort Collins, CO. Photos of our fleet show readiness for parking lots, garages, and driveways.
What is your typical timeline and scheduling process for snow removal jobs?
We schedule snow removal based on forecasted storms, prioritizing prompt response to keep properties clear during northern Colorado winters. Arrival windows depend on snowfall intensity, with teams dispatched as conditions allow safe equipment operation. Homeowners receive updates on expected service times via phone or text.
How does The Groundskeeper Inc. handle snow cleanup and debris after removal?
We pile snow in designated areas away from entrances, driveways, and utilities to avoid refreezing issues. Excess snow is trucked off-site when piles become hazardous or space is limited. Properties are left with cleared walkways, parking areas, and treated surfaces for safe access.
Why is professional snow removal safer and more effective than DIY methods?
Our heavy equipment like skid steers and front-end loaders clears deep snow faster without straining personal tools or risking injury from manual shoveling. We apply precise ice treatments to melt effectively while preventing environmental runoff, unlike uneven DIY salting. Trained teams position snow piles strategically to avoid drainage problems or structural damage common in amateur efforts.
