4 months agoWe've used Foothills Tree Experts three times over the years and have always been impressed with their work. Kevin and his team have shown expertise in pruning trees with a keen eye to shaping the tree into a balanced tree that enhances its appearance. We've used them for a variety of services, including taking down a limb broken by wind but suspended by other branches, in such a way as to minimize any damage to other branches; also for tree removal and stump grinding. Great service and clean up afterwards. -

7 months agoThis has been one of the worst companies we've ever had the displeasure to come in contact with. They do subcontract work for PVREA "trimming" trees for the power lines. Now we understand the need for this, but years previous, they left all the trimmings for us to clean up. In speaking with the owner, Kevin, this year we expressed our concerns with what they have done in the past with leaving trimmings behind, he informed us that he's been doing it for 25 years and it was PVREA that left the trimmings behind most likely. Secondly, they are driving big trucks all over our yard with out asking permission. When I noticed this, I got him on the phone and let him know that's NEVER how it's been done, and that wet conditions exist where the trucks are and that if they bury a truck they are responsible for any damage caused. Thirdly, I informed him there are cameras all around the property. He did not heed my warnings. I have them on camera talking bad about my mother and one of his co-workers making motions that we're crazy. Very professional. I will upload this video on YouTube and share the link. I have reached out to PVREA to express my concerns with this subcontractor and his lack of professionalism. All the positive reviews seem to paint a different picture, so apparently we are the problem with merely wanting our property respected, and their trimmings cleaned up. We will have Climbers Tree Service, a professional tree service, do this next time because they have completely butchered our trees. -

8 months agoKevin and his crews have cared for my trees and bushes for a number of years and have done such a good job, both as to the health and appearance of them. They always leave the work areas clean and in good shape which I really appreciate. -

8 months agoI met Greg a few weeks ago while his crew was trimming trees for REA. I stopped because the name on the truck was not recognizable to me but not a big company name either. He gave me his card and I contacted him later that day. He was very prompt in responding to to my call. He gave me a fair and very reasonable quote to take down a dead tree. When his crew came out they were very courteous and efficient. They cleaned up better then I ever could. Great service for family owned business. I will definitely call them again for any other service.
