18 years agoWe called and explained what they had to do. They came the following week and the technician looked at our basement and then gave us an estimate. My husband asked them about a hallway light that we had which did not work. Chris then proceeded to replace it with a temporary light. Then he scheduled to come in the following week to do the basement work. Although we are satisfied with the work that was done, when we got the bill, we were a bit stunned. Chris had indicated that labor was going to be about 4 hours, and that materials wouldn't be that much. Well, labor was within reason, but materials were over $200. I don't really think of this as incidental. In addition, we got a $25 charge for them just showing up on the first day. He charged us for an hour to put in the temporary light, which was understandable, but I would not use them again because I felt it was just too expensive for the work that got done. -

18 years agoProfessional, knowledgable service during a very difficult time. I wasnt sure I'd be able to find someone to come out without paying an exorbitant fee (due to so many flooded homes at the same time), but they were prompt, and took the time to explain everything. Good job. -

20 years agoChris was fabulous! He was on time, professional and friendly and patient with my zillion questions. I found the price very reasonable for the amount of time and work done, I also received 2 estimates that came in the mail for the two other projects I'd like to have done and found them to be in line with what other companies quoted. I will definitely stick with using my ''Angie's List Vendors'' especially Kadlec!
