I know the business well and enthusiastically recommend them. We suffered a flooded basement and hired a different firm initially -- and now see what choice we should have made. Critically, their recommendation saved us a ton from unnecessary demolition and repair. They saved us tens of thousands of dollars by telling the truth.

Had a great experience with Water Damage Inc. We had a toilet overflow on the main level and a lot of water coming into the basement. John answered my call late Saturday night and was at my house 45 minutes later to assess the situation. He quoted me at a very reasonable price compared to the first quote I got and he had his guys Alex and Alex come out to handle the damage mitigation. They were very friendly, professional, and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. Will definitely use Water Damage Inc again in the future.

FAQ

How does Water Damage, Inc. determine pricing for water damage restoration?

We assess the extent of the damage through a detailed inspection using moisture meters and thermal imaging to identify affected areas. Pricing depends on factors like the volume of water, category of water involved, and necessary steps such as extraction, drying, and mold removal. Homeowners receive a clear, itemized quote after this evaluation to understand the full scope and costs.

Are you licensed and insured for water damage restoration work?

Water Damage, Inc. carries full business insurance, workers' compensation, and property coverage to protect homeowners during restoration projects. Our technicians follow industry standards for safe handling of water extraction, drying, and structural cleaning. This setup ensures any potential issues are covered without liability shifting to the property owner.

Does Water Damage, Inc. handle mold removal and fire damage in addition to water damage?

We provide comprehensive services including toxicity and mold removal after water incidents, as well as fire damage restoration alongside our core water damage expertise. Our process covers content and structural cleaning, drying with air movers and dehumidifiers, and water extraction from sources like leaks or floods. Photos of our equipment in action show setups for kitchens, basements, and exposed areas during these restorations.

What is your typical timeline and arrival window for water damage emergencies?

We respond immediately to urgent calls, with specialists arriving quickly to evaluate and start mitigation, as seen in cases of sudden leaks or storms. Full restoration timelines vary based on damage size but generally involve rapid water removal within hours, followed by drying over several days using industrial fans and dehumidifiers. Customers can expect clear scheduling updates to minimize disruption.

How does Water Damage, Inc. handle cleanup and debris removal after restoration?

We remove all contaminated materials, standing water, and waste generated during extraction and drying, leaving the property clean and sanitized. Plastic containment sheeting isolates work areas to prevent spread of debris, and affected surfaces undergo thorough cleaning to eliminate odors and residues. The site is restored to a safe, habitable condition ready for any further repairs.

Why is your professional water damage restoration approach safer than DIY methods?

Our use of industrial-grade pumps, vacuums, air movers, and dehumidifiers detects and eliminates hidden moisture that DIY efforts often miss, preventing mold growth within 24-48 hours. Professionals categorize water types to apply the right sanitization and avoid health risks from contaminants, unlike basic home tools. This thorough methodology protects structural integrity and avoids costly future damage from incomplete drying.
